Looking to have a good laugh at the Phoenix Games website, I came across a game I'd be interested in: www.phoenixgamesgroup.com/uk/games/ps2/retro.htmlIf only for just taking old arcades and giving it an awful looking theme. Also, Light Cycles!! And in the spirit of the recent Earthworm Jim article, we need a Wild 9 article! I'd actually would love to see an article on other console clones like the Gold Leopard King article. Namely, TecToy's Master System and Mega Drive built in consoles.

I'm halfway tempted to do most of these below, but for a bucketload of reasons (disinterest, other commitments, not well-versed enough in certain genres/subjects, and lack of any convenient ability to get my own screencaps off newer systems), I can't. Not for now, anyway...so here's my lame little wish list:
Paperboy "Man, that guy's wasted!" Self-explanatory? Like big time?
Beyond Good & Evil Yes, this is quite a duh choice, i'm just checking if anyone felt like taking it anytime soon.
Jak & Daxter I am well aware all five games in this series have sold at least a million between them in the states alone (I think? not that farfetched). I'm also aware Naughty Dog has stashed this series in the "indefinite hiatus" closet while they tinker with Uncharted and ect. for a while, and Ratchet has been allowed to keep clipping along. And that's been for about a couple years. So I think it's earned enough underdog cred, or is close to it. On that note, Sly Cooper could use a memoriam for the same reasons.
If someone does a piece on Jak, here's some food for thought for you. Having played the first two, and been massively frustrated by the lack of replayability in Jak 1, i've come to the conclusion that the Jak games are largely movies that were given all the dressings of video games. Not bad games at that, but they're set up such that I treat them a lot like I tend to treat movies on DVD: watch them once in a while, but then keep them to the shelf a for a good while after I get tired of them, which is about the length of one sitting. Jak II (and i'm guessing 3) did better about shaking this impression, but they can't completely; it's simply the nature of how they're built.
Vectorman I'd be interested in seeing it as long as the person who does it isn't caught up in the mass delusion that thinks the games are awesome and can present them objectively. (*cough* they're shit >_>) (edit: so I see there's some interest in the reserves thread, but I just needed to let that out)
Daytona USA What else must I say? Other than, MAME still has trouble running the the arcade versions, doesn't it? And while we're going racing:
Andretti Racing This was a multiplatform sprints/stock/indycar racing sim from the mid-90's that got at least one 32-bit sequel, and I think was one of the first few games under the EA Sports label. I've only laid hands on the Genesis version of the first one, but it alone is great enough by 16-bit sim racing standards to be worth a writeup to me. On the other hand, it might have a place in a thing dedicated to early EA Sports releases, but then I (somehow) get the feeling it might get glossed over too quickly...

After seeing them in action, I would really like to see the Macventure games profiled. Anyone remember those games? They consisted of the following 4 games:
Deja Vu, Uninvited, Shadowgate, and Deja Vu II: Lost in Las Vegas.
I've been somewhat fascinated in the graphic adventure games genre, ever since I've played the Sega CD version of Snatcher, and then played the original PC-8801 and MSX2 versions. The only other version that I am interested in playing is the PC Engine version, which i prefer getting the authentic way. Emulation seems too much of a hassle.
