Cruis'n is a crucial piece of video gaming history, if you ask me - it's the "missing link" between arcade Outrun-style racing games and more contemporary Need For Speed/Sega Rally-style racers.
Also, that theme song.

It's great that other people remember the Cruis'n series as fondly as I do. I'll try to start soon on the article.

I'd like to reserve article space for The Treasure of Usas, a game by Konami for the MSX 2 which nobody ever brings up or remembers and which has it's problems.
Also I would like to suggest trying to write a piece on Malaya no Hihou, another MSX2 title, this time by Pony Canyon. It's an interesting maze like action game with secret passageways, weapon upgrades and varied enemy and boss designs, lacking in some other MSX efforts (*coughUsascough*)
Edit: I already wrote up a little piece on Usas nickz, if you'd like to take a peek at it ?

BTW, I'm still trying to hammer out the Genpei series article, but I lost a lot of stuff that I had saved and have had to rebuild (also, work has been really rough since I got promoted last year). I may need some help though, Kurt - apparently Namco's Shiftylook is giving out press kits (which include T-shirts for their upcoming Genpei-related comic "Scar") but you have to either work for some gaming-related store or website or whatever to be considered. If they need a reference, could you vouch for me? If anything I wanted to at least get a shot of the shirt.

Also I found out EA made an RPG in 1990 called Escape From Hell, where amongst other things you can recruit Stalin and Hitler in your party to beat up Satan. And I believe some of the more RPG savvy folks around here should realy take a look at it and write up something about it. www.pcgamer.com/2012/04/14/saturday-crapshoot-escape-from-hell/

I'm finished with all of my current projects. I will send them in pretty soon if everything goes right.
Is anyone working on a Parasite Eve article? I'm interested in writing one. I'm letting someone else play Xenoblade for a while and figured I'd do something else to get my RPG on. It would be a change of pace from what I've been doing, but I think I can do it. Forget it. Someone told me 3rd Birthday was part of the series and I haven't played that one.
