www.hardcoregaming101.net/aconcagua/aconcagua.htmDiebussy gives us an interesting look at another incredibly obscure Japanese game - Aconcagua, a graphic adventure for the PSOne that takes place in South America. I'd never even heard of this one...doesn't look too bad.

It does look pretty intriguing. It's a shame games like these get passed on.
There's just one very small, tiny little thing:
I think it's a bit redundant to call them living survivors, you don't find a lot of dead survivors, after all. Sorry to nitpick.

I might have to look for this one - with the voices in English, I might be able to at least figure out part of it, in a sort of "stranger in a strange land" way.

Hey! The Aconcagua is my country's tallest mountain! Interesting...
It's also weird that half of Argentina was replaced by this Meruza country.

I think it's set on Perón's period.

Not a bit, it's VERY redundant. The problem is being fixed. Thanks for reading the text and pointing this out to me!

Nice article! It's really annoying that there's very little information online about japanese ps1 games, and also rather strange considering its popularity. So any articles like this are greatly treasured and appreciated by myself and many other people. I'm definitely hunting this one down asap.
Cheers!

If you are, that's awesome, I'm from Argentina too. And I also find awesome that there's a game that has something from our country as part of the story, considering the only stuff of ours that appeared in any game had been our circuit (the reason why I love Atlus' GP-1 Part II for the SNES). And then there's the Iguazu mission in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, in which the enemies spoke like Spaniards... but then again, that also happened on any other mission which took place in a country where Spanish is the main language

Oh, wow. I totally didn't notice how old this topic was! I just saw a "new" topic for a game that sounded interesting, and clicked on it. (:
