randomly found JGR GBA mp3s if you want to put some up Kurt so everyone can here how well done they are: gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/239Sorry, but I've never played Ollie King, so I couldn't write it in there. Looks interesting though and I have the OST for the game (I love Hideki Naganuma )

Jet Set/Grind Radio was one of my favorite DC titles for quite a while. It's still one of the most innovative ones out there. However, although I have JSRFuture, I really haven't given it much play. Perhaps I should look back on it...

Protodude, have you played it before? And if you have, what is it like? Is it like Top Skater from SEGA?
At least the music for Ollie King is badass, with remixes of JSRF songs

Sorry to necro, but the HD version of JSR's been out for almost two years now, and really needs a section. It loses two of the songs and some of the graffiti seems to be changed, but it runs great (at least on Steam; didn't play too much of the console version), and, perhaps the biggest and most helpful change, maps camera control to the right stick. I can't recall if the original also had the option to disable the camera centering button, but the HD version most certainly does, which makes the showdown levels a lot more playable.
Also, I can't help but feel the JSRF section glosses over the change in the game's structure. While it does mention the lack of time limits and makes note of how big the areas are, what it doesn't say is that the whole routine of selecting levels has been replaced with the entire city being comprised of interconnected areas that you're free to roam around.

I only know of the one that never got licensed back in, and it's one of the best by far: Yappie Feet. I do know they licensed all regional songs together on the HD port, so PAL- & JPN-only stuff got thrown in. There's also JSR Future tracks as rewards.

why in the hell has Sega not brought Jet Set Radio Future to Steam or any other platform besides the original Xbox yet?

I could be wrong, but the tutorial also seems new.

I don't think the JSR HD versions sold enough to justify the sequel. Which is a shame - I prefer the second one by a fairly large margin. But yeah, we'll get around to updating this eventually.

I have to agree on that. I much preferred the sequel. I know that a lot of people lamented the loss of the analog-stick commands, but the gameplay flowed a lot better. I also liked the JSRF character designs better.
