www.hardcoregaming101.net/quiznanairo/quiznanairo.htmIt's a trivia/dating sim combo by Capcom. Largely uninteresting to play despite the odd setup, but I wanted to do something on it since it's the origin of Saki, who's now a playable character in the new Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Christ I'm not doing all of those. I only did this one because of Saki.

To be fair, none of them are really that interesting, except Capcom World 2, which has several Capcom cameos from the likes of Street Fighter II, Final Fight, Mega Man, and Captain Commando. Capcom World and Hatena Hatena no Daibouken both have Capcom cameos too, but none of them are as interesting as Capcom World 2.

That trilogy SLIGHTLY interests me, because I found out that was where Pure & Fur was from. It apparently also got some ports to the PCE. Maybe those'll be worth covering in the future.

LOL And wow I'm out of the loop. I didn't realize that Saki was in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Mabye it should be mentioned that she's a Wii exclusive character? and just in case you want to use it for the article:

Haha, no, it was just poor planning on the developers parts to stick those two frames together. He's basically saying some thing like "It's OK, because neechan (Saki) is strong!"
Thanks for the pic too Gilder, I added it. I put the article as up on the main page, but whenever I get my Wii hooked up to my computer, I'll stick some screengrabs of her too.

It's weird: before finding out that she originated in this game, I always thought that Saki was the main character from Section Z.

Isn't the main character from Section Z actually Captain Commando?

Captain Commando only applies to the NES rev (since he was, upon a time, Capcom USA's mascot)--he doesn't exist as far as the arcade/Fami versions are concerned.

I've played the Game Boy version of Hatena Hatena no Daibouken and it seems to have more Capcom cameos than the arcade version. In fact, there are four Capcom-themed boards you can choose from in the start of the game: 1943, Final Fight, Strider Hiryu, and Masked Ninja Hanamaru (that game that was localized into a friggin Domino's Pizza ad). I'm not sure if there's more. Basically the same gist as Capcom's other trivia games, but occasionally you will encounter an enemy from a Capcom game like G. Oriber or Andore.
