Looks like these are worth mentioning. They're all Japanese magazines, which is I guess why they aren't in the American one.
Spellchecking these things is hard though, since there are so many weird names. I ran through it and corrected a handful though.

I'm going to college to do that sort of thing for a living, so I might as well take a crack at it if you want.

I could do the spell check too. It isn't that hard, just copy the text into an email program or into a word doc and click the spell check button. Hell, cutehtml has a spellcheck option too.

Oh, I use CuteHTML, but spellchecking documents like this doesn't work too well, because there are so many strange names and Japanese words or weird video game terminology. I fixed a handful of errors yesterday, but anything else either slipped by or were grammatical in nature.

I this article needs a mention of Gal Fighters! for the Neo Geo Pocket because it has crossdressing Iori in it.

Bringing in other NGPC fighters opens up a whoooolle new can o' worms, because if you do one, you have to do others. Which is why I just covered the KoF ones. Maybe in another article though.
Plus it's one of the only NGPC fighters I haven't played.

I think it should be included anyway, since Yuki's profile already makes mention of it.

Yeah it is Yuki's only playable appearance.
What I would do is just set up a cameo section. Wherein one can talk about games that have playable appearances from characters that originated in the King of Fighters series proper (this way you can get these extra games in without having to cover, say, every appearance of Terry Bogard).

Excellent article - lets me know I'm not missing anything with King of Fighters Kyo, and clears up the quality differences between the different games.
Just for the sake of completeness, you might think about metioning the 'King of Fighters Online' under "What the hell?" or something. It was some kind of strange fighting RPG where you just fight with other people in the streets, and it looked....not too great.
Since it was a Korean MMORPG before those really started to get people's attention, it's kind of hard to find concrete information on it. I could've sworn at some point SNK made the developer take out the King of Fighters stuff - the models could stay, but all the names and such had to go. After that it probably died rather pitifully.
Which reminds me - what the hell ever hapened to Metal Slug Online?

Haha, gotta love Miss X.
Anyway, very nice article. :) I'm from the crowd that believes that the death of SNK was basically the death of KoF (along with any other SNK franchise). I just really don't like the Playmore/Eolith influence, so I don't think any of the KoF games past 2000 are worth playing. And maybe it's just me, but I HATE the recent art. Nothing beats old-school SNK artwork. And all the new characters... ugh. Ash has got to be the most repulsive fucker I've ever seen. The alternate costumes in MI2 are pretty damn cool, though. :)
Still, I have tons of respect for the older titles. '97 is the only game my boyfriend and I don't own in MVS form (plus we have plenty of the ports). However, he's the diehard KoF fan; I'm more of a watcher than a player since I'm pretty poor at fighting games in general.
As for a couple things that popped into my head while reading: from everything I've heard about Vice, the weird behavior she has from game to game is because she's ill. I heard she has an STD, haha. :P As for Krauser's all-English voice acting, he's done by an American voice actor named "BJ Love" (I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried), and according to an interview with Mr. Love, Krauser is "a great guy". :) While I don't know about that, at least he commends your fighting ability even when you lose and he keeps you from worrying about your burial arrangements. :P
