It's definitely on hold until you've decided if you want to rewrite it or cover the other DBZ stuff.

Well, this isn't really a 'recent' article anymore, but I read it recently. It is a very good article an IMO really hits the point about what makes Weaponlord on the SNES worthwile. On the other hand, I don't think it does the Mega Drive/Genesis version justice. The paragraph dealing with the port sais:
This makes it sound like the SNES version is the definite place to go if you want to play Weaponlord, but while it's true that the gameplay is "basically identical", in a sense that they're bot weapon fighting games with the same controls, same moves, moves, same characters, etc., the port had several major tweaks that make it much more enjoyable in my book, and while I own both versions, if I punch in the SNES game, it's really only for the looks, but I prefer playing it on Mega Drive by far.
- First, the overall pacing of the game got changed, making it feel less choppy, and other than with the SNES original, you always know what's going on.
- It got rid of a bunch of (partly extremely stupid) infinites and semi-infinites that really plagued the game in the first place.
- AI got adjusted, so the easiest difficulty level IS infact an easy difficulty level (and that does not mean the AI was worse, in Warlord setting, it still kicks your ass hard).

Here's a video to show what I mean with the second point, it's the easiest-to-pull-off semi-infinite in the game: www.derboo.de/files/wlinf.aviFor some reason, the emulator resets the combo counter, but on the SNES, it will count through. That's 8 hits, you can do more against a wall (highest I had was 12 hits, you can also combo it into the sword spinning move afterwards for 15 cheap hits) the video is Babarian difficulty, it works also on Warlord, up until the end. I know no Mega Drive emulator with avi recording, but try to do that in the port, even on Adventurer (or what the easiest setting was called), it won't work.

No interest in improving the article? That's too bad... Btw., the first link isn't correct. It sais www.weaponlord.crunchtimegames.com/, but since it's a subdomain, the www. doesn't belong.

You know, words aren't dictionary entries. Some words tend to have a history and etymology. Read the wikipedia article, it's good for your education. Seriously.
Enough with the off topic, when does the article get updated with the new information?

Enough with the off topic, when does the article get updated with the new information? I don't even know what to say. You're seriously claiming that Wikipedia trumps Merriam-Websters when it comes to defining the English language. You do know that they don't just make those definitions up, right?

Fine, be happy with your clever one-sentence definition. Enough with the off topic, when does the article get updated with the new information?

It doesn't.
And it's Merriam-Websters definition, not mine.

That's too bad. Sucks that the article to such a cool game has to stay inferior. Hope the next time new valuable information to an article pops up, it's gonna be one someone cool has written. And it's Merriam-Websters definition, not mine. Whatever you need to tell yourself.
