www.hardcoregaming101.net/loneranger/loneranger.htmI think this came up in one of those Overlooked NES games threads. I remember renting this when I was a kid and found it way too difficult, so I just skipped through parts of the games with password. It would've been excellent with a more forgiving checkpoint system.

Yay, Lone Ranger love!
Mistake? "The first person segments have to exploring mazes much like RPGs such as Wizardry or Phantasy Star. "

The Mission: Impossible NES game was based on the short-lived remake series that aired between 1988 and 1990.

And there might have been a Lone Ranger animated series around the same time as the NES game... don't quote me on that, though.

Great article, though might it not be worth mentioning about the shooting range and poker mini games you can play for cash? I never spent too much time with those while playing the game, but they were a rather nice addition to round out the game & its western feel.

And there might have been a Lone Ranger animated series around the same time as the NES game... don't quote me on that, though. There were a series of animated shorts during the early 80s, but the most recent piece of Lone Ranger media produced when the game was released was the infamous 1981 movie.
