^ The regular or Otoyoyo (shoot I know I mispelled that, lol) edition? The latter has a 1 level demo of Battle Garegga and works on all Saturn systems IIRC. The regular edition, IIRC, has graphical glitches when using the 4meg ram (again, IIRC, it's been 4, 5 years now) It's just the regular because it's much easier to find and cheaper. I was amazed about how cheap the game was in general, though. I got my copy for only $22 USD with shipping.

Good price. Yeah, I think the bottom dropped out for the Saturn market, or some what I've heard from old Saturn friends online. Apparently it's no longer the pricing juggernaut it was back in 2002 or so.

Souky is good, but I don't put it up there as the second best Saturn shooter. I prefer Strikers 1945 to tell you the truth. But, that's just my personal opinion.

I've been meaning to get Souky for a long time now. It's insanely hard. I can only make it to the 4th stage before I have to use a credit.

Sounds to me you're probably using the normal shot too much and/or picking up all the power ups you can, thus having rank dramatically increase. Use homing and don't pick up normal shot powerups to have an easier time.

Guys, how do I run the ST-V ROM on SSF? I've already got the BIOS and the ROM image, and I've set SSF's ST-V BIOS path correctly, what am I missing?

I played it on pSX not too long ago and same as the author I was impressed by the visuals and gameplay. Still I felt a little lost to what was going on because I don't know japanese. I think there are some voice clips spoken during the game but don't know what they mean.
