Enough Plumbers is a flash based Mario clone with a twist: collecting coins creates clones of your character. The clones you create can help you solve a number of puzzles, such as weighing down switches, and later levels quickly become fiendish in difficulty. There are 24 levels and a boss fight to complete, which should last you roughly an hour.

Armalyte is a deluxe PC remake of the Commodore 64 game of the same name. Armalyte is an old school shmup that plays like a combination of R-Type and Gradius. The game has a number of special features added, such as enhanced graphics, a new soundtrack, various options for controls and audio, achievements, two player, plus much more. The game comes on a disc in a nice package with a number of bonus features. Keep in mind the game is 16 GBP, which roughly translates to $26. For more information, Just One More Game has a review up of the remake. There is also a demo for the game. In other news, Eurogamer has a review up for the Whispered World, a lovely German adventure game. The game has recently been released in the rest of Europe and the US for $30.

www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/534416Super Mario Crossover - It's SMB, but with the ability to play as Samus, Megaman, Bill Rizer (from Contra), Link, and Simon. I haven't played it yet because I'm at work, but it looks neat.

Super Mario Crossover is great. It also has information on setting up a game pad if you find the keyboard cumbersome.

Yeah, Super Mario Crossover is fantastic. Whip Bowser in the face! Charge shot a line of Goombas! Wave beam a school of fish! Destroy every goddamn brick in the level with the spread shot! Ineffectively stab at things as Link!

Hero Core is the latest game from the creator of Iji. The game is a black & white Metroid style action game where you fly around a large space fortress. You are tasked with defeating your arch nemesis Cruiser Tetron, his minions having rebuilt him since your last encounter, for the final time. You can supposedly battle Tetron from the very start but it's in your best interest to explore and defeat the various bosses you encounter to level up your character. The game has two starting difficulties, each with a different map, and bonus modes after completing the main game. The game has support for gamepads and customizable controls for the keyboard.

oh shit, I've seen you post here, but I've never really made the connection. on the wiki, I am this guy. by the way, you should really add the jaguar page to the front page. anyways, back on topic. Although I certainly didn't expect much out of it, Diabolika II from Derek Yu has had me addicted for a week now. Great description at the link. Lots of risk/reward. Link.

Interstellar Marines is billed as an indie game with AAA polish. The video shows off the latest playable preview, Running Man, which is free to play for those that have preordered or have a support medal. The previous two game previews are now playable to everyone and include the Library, which shows off some of the models in use in the game, and Bullseye, a shooting gallery style minigame. On the opposite end of the spectrum, DroneLike is a flash roguelike set in an office. Fight office coworkers, make coffee to heal yourself, and screw around on the office servers to get your coworkers fired.

Houkai Mura is a Japanese doujin game that looks and plays like a love letter to the Ghouls 'n Ghosts series. In HM, you play as a half naked man with an eggplant for a head who fights against bats, ghosts, skeletons and other assorted spooky enemies. The game is said to be very difficult and there are a variety of weapons to find and use against your foes.
