I remember this game in the arcade.Nothing memorable anyway. I disagree Haha, the infamous head smasher. The giant swing and double headbutts were good stuff as well. The game rocks, from where I sit ;D And yes, don't forget about that "classic" American comic ad! BTW, here's my Combatribes review

Yes, I just bumped a 7+ year old thread because something bothers me about this game.
How the hell can a guy who is 7' tall weigh only 176 lbs. and still be Muscular as all hell?
7' tall and 176 lbs. is damn near emaciated.
An average person could break him over their knee.

The one minor thing that isn't noted in the article is that the enemy gang was renamed in the Virtual Console release to the stupid name "Guilty Zero". I can see obviously changing it due to post-9/11 sensitivity, but you couldn't come up with something better?

Yes, I just bumped a 7+ year old thread because something bothers me about this game. How the hell can a guy who is 7' tall weigh only 176 lbs. and still be Muscular as all hell? 7' tall and 176 lbs. is damn near emaciated. An average person could break him over their knee. A quick check of the Japanese version confirms that weight figure was an incorrect conversion from metric units: After proper conversion, our 7' tall, 176 lb muscleman is in fact ~216 lb. Suddenly, Berserker doesn't look so impossible. That's not to mention the other conversions are wrong; Bullova weighs ~233 lb. while Blitz is ~198 lb. Maybe the Technos Japan Corp. guys did the conversions themselves and didn't have anyone to check them with, or maybe they just made them up to seem impressive ("They weigh over a hundred pounds!") and didn't realize the values didn't translate as closely as they thought. Who knows? The one minor thing that isn't noted in the article is that the enemy gang was renamed in the Virtual Console release to the stupid name "Guilty Zero". I can see obviously changing it due to post-9/11 sensitivity, but you couldn't come up with something better? I'm willing to bet that they picked that word because "Ground" and "Guilty" take up the same number of characters, which meant all that they needed to do to change the name was to replace the letters through hex-editing the ROM or whatever. It's indeed a goofy-sounding name, but at least there's a reasonable explanation.

Those are still pretty small weights for someone 7'. You'd be looking at at least 260 for someone to have a moderately-muscled build. Here's the build of a guy who's 7'0", 220, and he's basically a stick (the one front-and-center in the white jersey).
