www.hardcoregaming101.net/ninjamasters/ninjamasters.htmThis is another 2D fighter made by ADK (not to be confused with the earlier Neo Geo game Ninja Combat.) I only ever played this game briefly, but it seemed alright. I agree that it kinda got overshadowed by Last Blade and Samurai Shodown.

Atari Games actually made Primal Rage, not Midway.
Last Blade came out in 1997.
Just doing some corrections.

Some of the quotes are showing the same pictures twice.

Where is Nobunaga's profile? Atari Games actually made Primal Rage, not Midway. The original paragraph could be restored by replacing "Primal Rage" with "Bio Freaks and War Gods". I've verified this with klov already.

Atari Games actually made Primal Rage, not Midway. Although these days, Atari Games is part of Midway, anyway. (not to be confused with just plain Atari, which is part of Infogrames)

What does "Haou Ninpou-ko" mean? Does it make the otherwise seemingly nonsensical placement of the apostrophe any less ridiculous?

Ninpou = Ninja magic, if all those fansubs are to be believed.

In case you didn't get it the first time, here's the profile that I wrote for Nobunaga:
Nobunaga
Nobunaga is the final boss character. He's partially based on a real historical figure named Nobunaga Oda. Both he and the guy that he's based on were horrible asshole dictators. He has made a deal with demons to make him more powerful. In fact, his cape seems to be alive, which is displayed during his win poses, where he opens his cape and you can see that it is inhabited by demons.

The original paragraph could be restored by replacing "Primal Rage" with "Bio Freaks and War Gods". I've verified this with klov already. Don't trust Klov too much, they are way less reliable than wikipedia. I would double check with the MAME database. The only memory I have of Ninja Masters is playing it for the first time and beating it on 1 quarter. I never came back to it. I guess it suffers from the same unconvincing, bland design all ADK titles possess. Add a very scarce distribution and you can see why ADK always stayed behind SNK.

Bio Freaks and War Gods have the Midway logo and Primal Rage has the Atari logo on it. Mace the Dark Age was also done by Atari Games.
