Anyone played the Arcade game Shadowland? Help.

I've played the game like 10 times and I still can't get the other endings.
mameinfo says the game has 5 endings depending on your performance, but I've beaten the game with over 99,000,000 points and I still get the same "hell" ending.
I've beaten it getting all the sphere items and I still get the same ending.
I've cheated my way over the game to ensure a fast time and I still get the same ending.

Anyone played the game and gotten a different ending?

It's driving me crazy.

Isn't this Yokai Dochuuki? I keep forgetting they made an English version.

Anyway, I'm not sure. I think I got the second level and stopped. That was the PCE version though, I could never find the right MAME ROMs.

Yes, it's Yokai. It's in english for mame, or I should say... Engrish.

If you ever find something about the different endings let me know, I want to stop losing my mind over it.

Woah! I thought I was the only one. Maybe now thanks to the magic of MAME I can get past the second level. The gambling frogs are my homies, BTW.

As far as I've seen the game only tells you about two endings (heaven or hell) but the mameinfo says there are 5, I don't know where they got that information.

Maybe they have L33T H4XX0R SK33LZ, and found some hidden endings without realising it.

Absolutely! Apart from what average Joe said, the other endings might have only superficial changes--like how in Super Metroid you can free the good creatures when escaping to your ship.

Well, they are all superficial because the only scene that changes is the last scene.
The statue at the end says something and tells you that depending on your performance you either go to heaven or to hell.

I've gotten the Hell ending, which is just one scene.
