Well this certainly got forgotten, didn't it.
Anybody happen to play that remake? An update would be prudent seeing as it's not likely to come out internationally at this rate. Actually, for that matter, the FE article in general could stand to be done over somewhat, as it's a little bit sloppy...

It's lack of release thus far is suspicious, but I'd say Nintendo is just behind schedule rather than overlooking it. The FE games sell better right now in the US than they do in Japan--they're not gonna skip this one when they localized Shadow Dragon.

Almost forgot: in the event the article gets a once over, shouldn't there be a more thourogh rundown of Fire Emblem's contributions to SSBM and SSBB? (don't forget to mention FE's awesome stage in Brawl's adventure mode)

Fan translation well underway. There's a menu patch right now that makes the game plenty playable if you don't mind not knowing what's going on. FE12 is still ugly, but it otherwise restores much of what was butchered in FE11 (sans the rescue command). This site also needs to be added to the URLs at the end; it is crammed full of just about everything you could concievably want to know or find about the series, and is is kept relatively up to date at that.

I'll happily write articles for New Mystery of the Emblem and Awakening if someone else would be willing to take the pictures needed.

We might need to rely on press shots for Awakening for the moment, at least until I get my 3DS modded so I can grab screens myself. As for the 2nd DS game, maybe we can convince someone on here to play through the game a bit on an emulator...

Hm... Actually, since I play New Mystery of the Emblem via emulator, I could take basic computer screenshots, and then just crop them to only show the game. I suppose it's a fairly crude method compared to actual screen capturing programs, but hopefully that's an acceptable means of getting some pictures for the article (still need some help for Awakening, though).

Most emulators have a built-in screenshot function. In DeSmuME it's F12 (or CTRL+F12 for quick snapping). Beware of iDeaS, though: Last time I tried it a year or two ago, it auto-watermarked all screenshots, so it was worthless for this kind of task.

Whoops! Forgot about that! I must be slipping in my old age EDIT: Alright, I've been playing through New Mystery of the Emblem, taking pictures as I go. As for the article, I got it started and have most of it thought out, though I'm still trying to figure out how to best piece it together and word it. Unfortunately, I've been having some computer problems lately, which is delaying me quite a bit.
