Besides hunting down Korean games, I at times stumble upon stuff like this:
Some cover designers here don't seem too concerned with the actual content of the games.
This is the best changed artwork I found so far. They also changed the subtitle from "The Genie's Curse" to "Arabian Nights".
This one is so ridiculous I don't even believe that it is legit. However, was sold like that in stores, "not legit" means something else in asia than it does in the west.
I've got quite a few more, and if there's any interest to add stuff like this in article form, I'd search for watermark-free images of the western ones (they might not be findable for all of the Korean covers).
Also, I always wondered why Tomb Raider wasn't included in the article. The first five games all had different covers in Japan.
I love these three, because they're so stereotypical for the region differences:

Well, most of the stuff I'd gathered at the time was for then-modern games. I've been meaning to do an update with more recent games (the JP Uncharted 2 cover is pretty cool) but just haven't gotten to it. But if you guys find any more interesting stuff, I'll definitely feature it.
The JP Lawnmower Man turned into "Virtual Wars". Probably makes more sense...
