Like a lot of Atari Games' stuff from 1990 on I only saw it at one arcade and never got to play it. I remember Tengen was going to release "Pit Fighter II" for Genesis using sprites from this...it was in a mid-summer 1993 issue of EGM. Did a rom ever surface? Here's an Unseen64 thing with pics from the EGM article - www.unseen64.net/2008/10/11/pit-fighter-2-mdg-cancelled/I guess on that tangent about Atari Games, there were a ton of games by them that I didn't find out about until years later, like Batman (found out about it in 1994) and Thunderjaws (just found out about it last year). Anyone else have that kind of experience? A lot of their latter-day stuff was kind of unsettling, especially the music and the jerky animation of those Novotrade (I think it was) games.

CBS Electronics did some horrible things to old arcade ports back in the day. Case in point: That's pretty awesome. Mjolnir PI vs.Bigfoot.

Took a look at the link. Helga was going to be playable? She was the final boss. I guess I find that surprising. I learned about some of Atari's later arcade stuff just recently too. Thunder Jaws had some ports, and it still evaded me until just a couple of years ago.

Also if possible I'd like to call dibs on Creep Clash on Dos.

Heyy.... Wanna be topical? Long, long ago, someone legitimately published a text adventure game written as a sequel to Fahrenheit 451. It's a little unclear if it counts as a kusoge: Bradbury himself gave it some praise, and some people seem to like it, but its review on Home of the Underdogs is quite scathing.

You might want to check the spelling of "Arnold Schwenegger" in the latest entry.

I'm embarassed now. This isn't the first time I've mispelled Arnold's last name on this site.

Hmm, I'd say we should get a Gameboy game entry here somewhere. Any suggestions ?

How about Darkman? I think it had Commodore 64, NES, ZX Spectrum, and Amstrad CPC versions too. I tried out a bunch of monochrome gameboy games and that one sticks out in my mind as one of the worst. I don't know about the other versions because I was never brave enough to try them after trying the gameboy version. It's too bad because I thought the movie was fun.

I tried playing the NES game years ago. It was....horrible.

I love how, not too long after posting that I harbor a strange love of Zoom's games, we get a second Your Weekly Kusoge featuring one of their creations. If we could get a writeup of one of their terrible racing games or one of their Imagineer/Zoom titles, it would be a perfect trifecta.
Cheers, Kurt. Cheers.

I assure you that was entirely a coincidence! If you have a list of "noteworthy" titles, do let me know.

Well, as far as Zoom goes, Zero Devide is probably the best one to add to the list, but it's more on the mediocre side than Kusoge. I'm not entirely sure about that, though, since I can't seem to find a legit copy or an emulator that will run it correctly (though I was recently told of a new one that may work a little better that I need to remember to try out soon).
Honestly, I've kind of wanted to do a complete write-up of their works for a while now, but actually playing more than a few minutes of some of them can be quite painful, as I'm sure you can understand. And their best game, Phalanx, is so difficult that It actually took me a whole year to figure out how to beat the first stage....
