I'm reviewing the text and I don't see any mention about the MSX2 version disallowing escaping? I think that part may have already been fixed. I adjusted some of the text about the difficulty, since it seems like running would negate most of the problems mentioned. I also fixed the bit about the leveling system.

The text about not being able to run is still present: "You can run from most battles, but only if you reach the rightmost side of the screen, which means getting past and most likely touching an instant-death enemy." This should be revised to something like: "You can run from most battles by reaching the rightmost side of the screen, or by pressing against the leftmost side for a bit (the amount of time varies, usually in proportion to the difficulty of the battle you're running from)." If I may be so bold as to suggest specific edits to the next couple paragraphs, too: I would also suggest doing something about this paragraph, as it's completely untrue: The game is definitely not impossible or unplayable. As noted above, I'm progressing pretty well on actual hardware, and enjoying the hell out of it at the moment. I don't mean to nitpick, of course, and I certainly understand why Mr. Szczepaniak had a bad time with the game -- it's not the most well-designed game out there, by any means -- but a lot of what he says in the article is just plain factually wrong, and as I said, it ALMOST convinced me not to bid on this title, so I just feel it's worth updating in case there's some other crazy hipster out there considering picking up a copy of it from some dusty auction. Better to have all the facts in order! Hope nobody minds me being all revise-y here. I'm actually FB friends with John (didn't notice he was the guy who wrote the article till now, as I was so focused on what it said!), so I can run all this by him directly if that would be preferable -- probably should've done that in the first place, but again, didn't even notice it was him until right now! -Tom

You can now also add a note that the PCE version received an English patch, you can find it on RHDN. One fun fact I noticed... the church music is Bach's Christian Passion hymn, "O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden" apparently... I guess Japanese folks do like classical music.
