I'm quoting myself, does anyone know the answer? The one I think you're talking about starts you underground and at somepoint during the first or second game you go to a lighthouse right? Not sure, the first starts you in front of a house, the second in front of a Church, the first game also came out around 2006.

I filtered through some categories at MobyGames and found Lucifer Ring...is it that? The game I'm thinking of is definitely a fighter rather than a typical brawler. The more I think about it though, it seems like it played a bit like Power Stone but I can't be sure except that you can play as various knights or medieval fantasy style characters. Sheesh the name keeps escaping me haha Dare I say Ehrgeiz: God Bless The Ring? Features Cloud Strife and an RPG mode at the very least, heh...

The game I was talking about in my last post is called Submachine and I also can't remember if this game had Lovecraft themes to it, yet I feel like this is the game you are looking for. It was definitely not a Square game otherwise I might have found it already. Thanks for reminding about this game though, never got around beating the adventure mode.

I've been looking for an NES game for a while, or at least, I think it's an NES game. The basic gist is that it's a competitive Pong game with a twist: the other opponents you face have different AI and paddles! One opponent had a very large paddle that took up almost the entire screen, but their defense was poor. I can't remember if the Pong battles were merely boss fights in an otherwise bog standard platformer, or if that was the entire game. I could have sworn I-Mockery or Something Awful reviewed the game, but I can't find anything remotely similar on either site. It's possible the game was never released, and was merely a prototype that had its ROM dumped. Pong Kombat maybe? Even if it never was a NES but rather a DOS game...

I have a hard one, I have been trying to find a game for over 10 years. It was a cheap clone of Final Fantasy VII for the PC, same graphics style, same kind of turn based battles, it even had the floating poligon above the character you're controlling during a battle. I'm quite sure what I played was a demo, I don't remember if I got it from the internet or from some magazine in spanish. This was somewhere between 1999 and 2003. From what I remember the game was in english but it's possible that it may have been in spanish. What I remember from the game is a rusty city with metal stairs and handrails, there was snow outside, you fought soldiers and wolves. It's not a known game, it's not Septerra Core or Silver (they don't even fit my description, but people always mention those). It's a very obscure game, I searched through all RPGs on mobygames and other sites and I couldn't find it. There are the only two games I could find that are somewhat close to it. It's neither of them but you can see the kind of game I'm looking for and how far I had to search trying to find it. Red Hawk, this is a quite bad korean game youtu.be/vG9FhiUI1-8?list=PLtssUls4jwhsdvqAc5cgIsV6jnNSozfOX&t=140Crazy Cross, some parody game made by students from a game design college youtu.be/yJgCQWoP6rQ?t=103

Mere years ago, I downloaded a torrent of a bunch of DOS games and randomly picked out a game that night. What I can clearly remember about it is that you can create a character's race and not sure what else, but you basically explore space, planets and get into spaceship battles. Would like to play it again since I forgot about it and the HDD it was on died from bad sectors.

I remember some 2D game for iOS around 2009 where you played as a spider crawling around a mansion.
I swear this was a serious game and not a piece of shovelware crap but I can't remember the name.

That sounds like Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon, but that seems a lot newer than the game you're looking for. There's also Spider: the Secret of Bryce Manor by the same company, which was released in 2009!
