I remember some 2D game for iOS around 2009 where you played as a spider crawling around a mansion. I swear this was a serious game and not a piece of shovelware crap but I can't remember the name. That sounds like Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon, but that seems a lot newer than the game you're looking for. There's also Spider: the Secret of Bryce Manor by the same company, which was released in 2009! It's Spider: the Secret of Bryce Manor, I knew it had to be 2009 because it was the first smart phone game I ever remember seeing that looked interesting. I'm quite impressed, good job and thanks! Is the game still available though?

I believe it's called Spider: The Legend of Bryce Manor, and it's also available on Android (I own it through an old Humble Bundle, actually).[edit] That'll teach me to not see if there's another page. =/

A, I think, terrible Tomb Raider clone from the mid to late ninties. Multiple playable characters, I remember a girl with red hair and a TANK character dude with blue pants. Mostly dark, black enviroments. Somehow I remember it being from psygnosis, and......the title something with freedom?Very vague on the latter two things. ----------- Sorry, already found it myself by going through a list of psygnosis games. The game is O.D.T. and-does not sound too terrible, and not too Tomb Raider cloned either. Huh.

Looking for a PC DOS action platformer that plays like Lionheart for AMI, but doesn't look nearly as good. IIRC you could pick between male and female barbarian-like characters. LGR reviewed it a while back, but somehow I couldn't find it in his playlist.

Okay, LOL, since everyone is finding games instantly right now, I have a game I've been trying to find ever since I played it on my school computers during class.
It's a psuedo-adventure game in the vein of Sierra / LucasArts titles. The character wakes up in some sort of hospital or psych ward that you have to escape from in the beginning. The graphics are about around the time of Police Quest 3 style or Super VGA. Lastly, there is this really difficult maze you have to complete near the end.
I think I remember some action style sequences as well, but that's fuzzy.
Edit: Oh yeah...and we're talking about a PC game.

I'm looking for a browser game. I think it was on Lycos games' site, and it was a platformer starring a fox, or a squirrel or something. There was the original game, as well as I believe two sequels, though there might have just been one. The first game was a standard platform adventure where the fox saves his girlfriend or sister or somebody from bad guys, and in the sequel he's just going around collecting tokens/coins/stuff. If there's a second sequel, I think it starred the girlfriend/sister, and was structured like the first game. They were cartoony with a lot of blue and brown in the art design, and they had rather simple graphics, but I remember them being fun. I can't remember what the name of the game was, but I played it over a decade ago, so I'm not sure if it's still around today I'm still trying to figure out what this game was. Ugh!! I wish I had the faintest idea of where to begin searching Could it be Squirrel Squash? I just checked, and no, that's not it. The graphics in the game I'm thinking of were much simpler, and it didn't have that upbeat dance pop music playing over the gameplay.

X-pert74: could it be a flash port of Skunny games? "Skunny: Back to the Forest", "Skunny: Save Our Pizzas" etc...
