Someone is asking around for a PS1 RPG that starts with a game of hide and seek. Assuming the description is accurate, I'm not having any luck finding it. None of the usual suspects apply so I'd appreciate the help. It's not really hide and seek, but Grandia starts out with having to find three items as a bunch of kids. Or,the person could be completely wrong and it's something like Majora's Mask on the N64.

Saturn, not PlayStation, but Tengai Makyou IV: The Apocalypse starts out with a game of hide and seek. Could there be a chance this person saw the game online and assumed it was on PlayStation?
EDIT: I agree that Grandia is the most likely match, though.

Hi community
I am looking for an arcade game (it was about 89´) in which you control an aircraft and fly in 3D from top to bottom on a warship. Large rockets have come towards you. I've watched a lot of videos in the past few weeks and searched the internet to no avail. Maybe someone knows the name by accident. Thanks in advance.

Trying to remember a game that got an article on HG101 years ago, no luck finding it on the new or old site. It was a versus game that the author compared to a one-on-one Fighting game, except instead of fighting it was a top-down shooter where you shot at one another. Both you and your opponent were playing as ships or mechs. As a special move, a player could transform into a traditional top-down shooter-style boss for a period of time. Console game, 3D graphics, at least PS2/XBOX era.

I've been trying to identify an old game that I played in the early to mid 2000s, but might have been older than that. It could easily have been DOS or Windows. The game was an artillery game with a post-apocalyptic setting. You controlled a tank and could upgrade it or buy it various weapons. The game was either full 3D or isometric. Like Scorched Earth, there was plenty of terrain deformation. Shots tended to take the form of 3D spheres that would expand from the point of impact, though there was also a totally broken napalm weapon that would fill low valleys. Until I went looking for it, I remembered the game's name being "Blast Wars," but Google's never heard of it. Any ideas?

How is everyone? it must've been years since i've logged in. Wonder if the people who browse this forum today even remember me.
Anyways i am haunted by images in my brain from 2 games, both, possibly, from the PSX or at least that era (Saturn, N64, 3DO).
1st game:
I was watching a longplay of Blade Arts on PSX, and i got flashbacks from some of the bosses to this game: A PSX third person action/hack n slash game (or maybe some tomb raider elements). Might be Japanese only? I remember making lots of screenshots from it for my boss fight database. But i cannot seem to find it. I remember lots of caves. One boss was dressed in black with black shades and who fought with knives, another boss was using a sword that was an old artifact, I remember a boss with a exo-skeleton perhaps? Lots of dudes dressed up as military guys. But also some monsters. I remember a girl boss in a purple spandex fighting outside a cave? A little bit Spriggan-ish (the manga). EDIT: Ok this was actually was Spriggan. Spriggan: Lunar Verse to be exact. Most of my memory points seem to match the thoughts except for maybe the boss with knives and sword (exo skeleton was a bio armoured arm. So this leaves us only with game nr. 2:
2nd game: I was watching a longplay of Enigma and got flashbacks to this other game: Possibly an adventure game, or Survival Horror, it had that resident evil fixed camera thing. Japan only for sure. I remember the game was fairly short, but there were a lot of paths that gave you a branching story. I remember there was one where you wait in the cave for x amount of time to activate 1 branch. Also lots of caves. I rememeber either a black panther boss or enemy. A character dressed up as Sasori/Female Prisoner Scorpion. Again no clue...
Thanks!
