I haven't played this one as much as some of Cave's other games, but now that I actually understand the scoring, I might get into it a bit more. I personally think Guwange is one of the better "walking guy" style shooters, which is a nice break from flying every now and then.

A few minor items possibly worth adding. For one thing, you don't actually have to damage enemies with the shikigami to keep the combo going - you can keep it alive just by hovering over a bullet, which is actually necessary in a few otherwise-empty spots if you don't want to lose your chain. While we're on the topic, it's (I think) worth mentioning that while the "full game chain" system does make for some massive scoring possibilities, it also makes messing up extra-painful, since one screw-up during a scoring run basically renders the entire session worthless. While it doesn't affect survival since all life restoration is done through hidden items rather than score extends, it also allows for a score "counter stop" which wasn't fixed until the 360 edition. Oh, and I think the first character's name is "Shishin", not "Shinshin".
Looks good otherwise, I'll let you know if I find anything else - of course, I've already got corrections and updates to make to the Deathsmiles and Espgaluda articles, heh.
