Can I take a guess at "Michigan: Report from Hell" being that game?

No, it's not Michigan, but I might look into it. I'm sure Kurt is really busy but I'm hoping he'll be able to put the other two articles I've done, as well as the corrected edition of the KF article. Btw if anyone knows of any other first person games for ps1 or 2 or Saturn that are not shooters, please PM me. I'm already aware of Echo Night, the wizardry series and Lunatic Dawn Tempest but it's frankly rubbish, as you essentially select from static locations you happen to have a first-person view of. Not good enough!

The updated King's Field article should be uploaded. I've got the other two on the server - will be posting them shortly. (I'm in the process of updating, but these need some structural fixes before they go live.)

Thank you Kurt, I can rest for now! Phew!
Edit: my source regarding the promo of KF2 replied to me with little further to add, so I would remove "looking into this". Also yet more corrections: there was no release of KF3 in Europe so the header for it should begin with King's Field 2 (USA 1996). And Both Additionals 1 and 2 came out in 2006. Oops!

Article's up for real now. Not much a difference other than proper shots of the PSP game, though. Man is it ugly.

Might want to update it with a mention of Dark Souls, unless it's getting its own article. It's even more of a throwback to KF than Demon's Souls was.

I added it in the intro, but I haven't played either King's Field nor Dark Souls so I can't really add much.

So why is it the company has no problem making 4 games called "King's Field" but is reluctant to call Dark Souls a "sequel" to Demon's Souls?

Mazinsaga, I'm not sure if it's the same game but I have covered a rare and little-known first-person horror game for PS2. The article is done, just waiting for it to hopefully be posted. which?

So is Demon's/Dark souls going to get a page as well? In its own article, someday, maybe?

Spiritual sequels = separate page?

With the article currently covering Shadow Tower in there with King's Field, I think including Demon's Souls and Dark Souls would make sense. Shame the Shadow Tower Abyss section is so short, because Demon's Souls really is more or less King's Field IV + Shadow Tower Abyss, and from what I understand Dark Souls takes it a bit closer to KF4's world design? I've yet to play it. Too many games (RPGs even!) coming out that it's impossible to stay up with everything I actually bought a copy of Dark Destiny CE and am looking forward to trudging through it sometime. Looks and sounds pretty neat!
