I don't see much in common between Yoshi's Island and Bio Miracle other than their involvement of infants, but it's been awhile since I've last played Yoshi's Island so... It's mostly in the way that you fling enemies at an angle. Upa isn't a grade-A Famicom title, but it's plenty alright. The article was enough to convince me to buy the VC version, and I haven't bought a VC game in something like 4 years. Speaking of which, I do like it more than the Wangan Land series which, similarly, never made much of an impression on me. Seemed like a kiddie platformer game that didn;t have much in the way of interesting mechanics - Upa tried something, even though it is a little awkward in practice. (Except for those post-level minigames, anyway, in Wangan.)
