The east coast is going to get hit by a huge hurricane very soon, and who knows if I'll have power, so I'm going to post all of the articles for this update now before the main page (gotta finish up the Kusoge - it's The Isle of the Dead, for anyone curious). ANYWAY, Bushi Seiryuuden is a cool late-gen SFC RPG which battles which switch to a side-view perspective but still utilizes a turn based system. It was also developed by Game Freak, making it one of their last titles before they became a 98% full time Pokemon factory. www.hardcoregaming101.net/bushiseiryuden/bushi.htm

I know this is really dredging this up, but I just came across this article, and I'm really curious if this is the same artist as Pokemon.

Indeed it is, Game Freak used to have some artwork for the game on their website.

Sorry for the bump, but it seems like a lot of this game's music was taken as the inspiration for Game Freak's later Pokemon songs. For example:

Or

Seems this game was used as music 'practice' for the Pokemon franchise or something.

Don't feel too bad about the bump. DYKGaming's Region Locked series posted a video about the game today
This is days after their video on Mario & Wario
