It's a nicely goofy take off of Victorian England, complete with spoofs of various literature (Jules Verne, etc.) of the era. As the review notes, the relationship of the main characters reminds me a lot of the one between Blackadder and Baldrick in the classic BBC series.

A bit, yeah. Not enough to write anything on it, though. Sorry.
Though it sort of reminded me of a 3D version of an old AGI Sierra game, where it was easy to accidentally wander off a ledge to your death...
