Damn. I missed out on a cheap auction for this a while ago, and I bet prices will go up with this publicity. Hybrid computer/board games are such a neat idea. Have you considered covering Star Saga One and Two?

Damn. I missed out on a cheap auction for this a while ago, and I bet prices will go up with this publicity. Has there ever actually been a time where an HG101 post led to the rising cost of a game? People have tried to claim that it happened in the past, but has it really happened or are people just giving the site's actual influence a little too much credit? For the games that do increase in price, hasn't it been more a factor of them already being on the upswing anyway?

On the subject of mixing video and board game, I remember such games in The AVGN video for the Odyssey. It seems it was an odd time where the only people developing games for that new technology were board game designers.

If I ever get the time to finish the article, the Famicom Genpei Toumaden is another interesting board game hybrid. Although in its case, the board game elements could have been handled in-game just as easily.
Anyone know of any other games using board game elements/feelies?
