The more we talk about the more I want this game for the Game Club.

Xerxes added it to the randomizer, so now it's just a matter of fate.

I've tried on three separate occasions to play this game and I can't even get past disc 2.

I still think that Shadow Madness would be a more appropriate torture.
LoD's biggest sin is being boring.
Shadow Madness is a shitstorm in every possible way.

LoD is also immeasurably long for having basically no plot.

I thought Sony wanted to forget that they ever made this game. I'm guessing that they need to wring some money out of the well mannered and emotionally balanced fanbase. Anyways, I'd say that I can't wait to not play this game, but I don't have to wait. I can not play it right this moment. Sometimes, I love life.

You've clearly never played Secret of Mana 2. That game is like party game central. So much fun with three players. Square's re-released most of their games half a gazillion times and still no Seiken Densetsu 3. Not even PSN or XBLA or Virtual Console.

SD3 is one of the most fun I've ever had. Gorgeous game, to boot.

My girlfriend played this game a while ago because I was ranting about it so much. You see she loves crappy games and gets a great laugh out of them and especially buggy games. We usually play crappy survival horror games and laugh at them, it's great fun. However she played LoD for two hours and told me that she never wants to see the game ever again.

I had no idea ANYONE enjoyed this game. But it's like rule 35: If there's a game, someone out there enjoyed it. But at what cost? At what cost!?

I'm officially making a motion for the next GC9X to be for Legend of Dragoon. No other choices. We'll all play this goddamn game and finally finish it...
...or die trying.

LoD suffers from the same syndrome ANY game not so absolutely horrid enough to reach "so bad it's good"/"bile fascination" territory suffers from. It's a similar phenomenon to how (right or wrong,) complete assholes who treat others like shit end up more socially acceptable than awkward people. It if can't excel, then it has to be bad enough for people to notice, not just so un-notable that it can be dismissed out of hand. Mediocrity. And yet Legaia can't get this sort of hate-on. I think I feel about Legaia the way a lot of people feel about LoD. Though as I've said before, LoD is pretty boring, yeah (though I do like the main battle theme).

Shit, I made it to the very end of the game and never finished....I was at the final dungeon. I don't think I have that save anymore.
