I'm abstaining. I would vote for Landstalker, but I'm still waiting/hoping that someone will produce a ROM patch that restores the censored material and some NPC dialogue. It's only a few small things, but I've completed the retail cartridge release once (back in the pre-internet days!), so would prefer to replay it with extra content. If you do choose Landstalker, and you're emulating, and are able to take screenshots in the native resolution without filters, consider grabbing some. At some point in the future HG101 will probably want to do a feature on the Climax games, so this would prove handy.

Well, I vote Dungeon Explorer. This made it seem like a cool game, even for one player youtu.be/e5vH6_Ewx7YAlso because it is the only game on the list I've never heard of.

Land Stalker - it'd give me an excuse to dig out the Megadrive.

I want dungeon explorer, but if Landstalker gets it can I use Sonic's Ultimate Collection on PS3?

The Dungeon Explorer series seems a bit weird, IMO.
Not because it's crazy or wacky or anything (it isn't), just because of how different the Sega CD, PSP, and DS games are from the 2 PCE games.
I don't know much about the SNES Spin-off, but I've heard it's basically a cut-and-paste game based on DE2 for the PCE (much like the SNES Dracula X).

Is there a PCE/TG16 emulator that has netplay support? That will heavily influence what I'll vote for in the end.

You don't really HAVE to have 5 players in order to play it, though.

Yeah but it ain't any fun on your own. It's kinda awful on its own in fact.

If we can get it working over the Internet, though, what better to pick for GC9X than a decent multiplayer game that brings us all together?
Heck, maybe we can even record our GC9X playthroughs complete with voice chat/commentary and add those to the final article.

I think it's pretty hard for most people just to find time to game on their own, let alone with people in their personal lives...let alone with people on the internet. Still, it's a cool idea if it could somehow work out.

Dungeon Explorer's got some kickass music.
Is Landstalker related to Alundra in any way? The character looks really similar.
