Hi, While browsing Underground Resistance's catalogue, I came across this; Sounds very similar to Battle Garegga's stage 2 music; www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kcTXUwViWMApparently I'm not the first to discover this.

Wow! Such a huge similarity looks suspicious. Just like similarity of Zombie Nation's Kernkraft 400 with the tune Stardust from the C64 game Lazy Jones (which I wasn't aware of until a friend of mine told me about it few months ago):

Let's add "The Ruined City Kishgal" from Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim to the mix. (:

was the original a huge hit in Japan or something? That's most definitely another 'copy'. Interesting.

Wow, nice find and well spotted. Maybe all of its music is "borrowed" from similar sources, at least the ending credits of Battle Garegga don't mention a composer, it only mentions "sound effect: santaruru" www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvGKPy5a-n8Makes you wonder how many cases like this go unaccounted for, just because they ripped off some obscure original work. I mean look at Nelly Furtado's hit "Do It" which turned out to be based on a SID from C64 demo scene.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzFp3rovfY0

Heh, or what about Rock's stage music in Garou and Robert Miles - Children?

Yeah, but everyone knew about that one I guess It also helps that this track was fairly popular late 90's, while Underground Resistance's is more... well, underground. It also appears the anime Cowboy Bebop used this in the soundtrack, so it definitely made an impression with a lot of people in Japan. I understand - I drop it every now and then at parties and people dance to it, so yeah.

Got another one. The title of this song should give you a big hint.
