Sold. Now I just have to think about whether I want to bring El Stingray or The Scorpion into the RoD part of the tourney...

For those curious about recording your MAMEHub matches, here's the lowdown: While in-game, hit Shift+F12 to begin recording. When you're finished, hit Shift+F12 again to stop. This will create a MAMEHub replay file. Anything you do in-game, such as typing, opening MAME menus, disabling overlays etc. is recorded, so keep that in mind!
From there, you can directly upload your replays to youtube. In MAMEHub, hit the File button at top, then select the Upload to Youtube option. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Alt+U. From there, you can pick an account to upload the replays to, give the replay a name, tags, and a description, and finally upload. There are two caveats with this method: you cannot resize the window (otherwise it will screw up the video), and the youtube time limit applies to replays. I'd recommend not recording more than two or three matches at a time if you go this route.
Alternatively, replays are saved in the snap subfolder inside of the main MAMEHub folder. VLC Media Player can open these natively, and from there you can convert them to another format, then edit them in the video editor of your choice.
If you have a particularly cool replay you'd like to show off, please do!

So, we're doing a new thing!
We're now splitting GC9X Fight into two seperate tournaments, with two different winners! You can either join the tournament for just Ring of Destruction, just Arch Rivals, or if you're feeling really tough, both! This DOES mean you'll have to share your #1 spot... unless anybody wants a Tiebreaker round.
If you're only interested in one tournament, be sure to let me know when you post to sign up. If you don't specify, I'll just assume you want to be in both.

Hello. :3
Not much for wrestling games; big into basketball, though *hums the NBA Jam theme*, but it'd seem ridiculous not to sign up for both, so...
...sign me up for both. ^_^
EDIT: Okay, question here - my usual site's got multiple versions listed for both Ring of Destruction and Arch Rivals. I'm assuming I need "Ring of Destruction: Slammasters II (Euro 940902)" and "Arch Rivals (rev 4.0)", correct? Also, I'm finding "MAME 0.145" ROMs rather than "MAME 0.144"; will that cause any problems?

Thanks for signing up, by the way!

So I would like to sign up for Arch Rivals and Ring of Destruction. Or any other game. I don't care, just sign me up!

Put me down for both tourneys, I think.
Is there a specific version of each rom that I need to download (i.e., revision, region, etc.) or is it fairly straightforward for these two games? EDIT: OK, I guess it's not too complex then.

Okay, now I'm having trouble with MAMEHub. Apparently there is some kind of electro-goat in the system, because the update process deletes the batch file and prevents me from running the program. I tried double-clicking "MAMEHubReinstall," but that was even worse - it brought up the MAMEHub interface, but I couldn't get it to close and so I had to use the Task Manager to kill it.
What the hell is wrong with this piece of crap software? Has anyone gotten it to install without it doing something like this?
EDIT: And furthermore, why does the installer demand I install this "Mumble" stuff when the updater seems to drop something called "Mumble Portable" in the directory?
EDIT #2: I'm sorry if I seem hostile. I'm just pissed that I seem to be the only one who's magically having issues with this software.

That's what we use, personally, because 2.0 seems buggy. If you have MAMEHub1.bat and MAMEHub2.bat, you want to use 1.bat. Although, I'd recommend installing 0.8 first.

That's what I've got. Post-update, I have three batch files in the install directory, none of them named "MAMEHub.bat" - I've got "MAMEHub1" and "MAMEHub2", no idea what they're supposed to do, and "MAMEHubReinstall", which booted the program, all right - which then froze up. I had to kill it from the Task Manager. >_<#

Run MAMEHub1.bat. MAMEHub2.bat is the beta version of MAMEHub 2.0. Right now it's pretty buggy, so I don't recommend using it unless you're curious about it.

Been practicing a bit, and I think I've got the hang of it. My interest in playing Ring of Destruction shot up greatly after learning the characters were drawn by the artist of Fist of the North Star.
