Pilgrim: Faith as a Weapon is one of those rather strange CG rendered first person adventure games, similar to the ones put out by French developer Cryo Interactive (they of Dune, Dragon Lore KGB and a few others.) www.hardcoregaming101.net/pilgrim/pilgrim.htm

I didn't mention it in the article, but this game has the fastest scrolling credits I've ever seen anywhere! The whole thing goes by so quickly you don't even have the time to read a single name.

Almost certainly an incompatibility error with the timing. Stuff like that is actually fairly frequent with early Windows games played on newer computers with more recent Windows versions.

Well, I played in a virtual machine with a genuine Win98 installed, and that's the only part that had such a "problem". And at any rate, it was really quite hilarious.
Also, never read anything by Paolo Coelho, it's horrible.

The writer's name is Paulo, not Paolo. You can see it in the box picture. He has a chair in the Academia Brasileira de Letras, our most important language institution. But no one really thinks he deserved it.

You're right. I've seen it spelled correctly everywhere, but I still made the mistake... I'll try to get that fixed. I feel for you for the Academia. Ours is still free from that kind of thing.
