If we're discussing Thunder Ceptor, I guess you could write a whole article on Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom and its many, many clones.

And its sequel, 3-D Thunder Ceptor II. From what I can tell, it wasn't so much a sequel as it was a revision (kind of like After Burner and After Burner 2, only even less revised.)

I've actually played Hyperzone before! I always thought that it was one of the better uses of Mode 7 graphics. It helps that the game is a lot of fun too. I'm very glad it has an article now.
