Handsome Jack from the Borderlands series He immediately comes to mind! Ooh, I was gonna cite him as an example, but you beat me to the punch. I think he has charm, but he's also kind of hilariously dickish while also being a serious villain when he needs to be. Above everything else, Daemon Clarke's voice acting is what really clinches it. Clarke is most famous for playing Cell in DBZ, but Handsome Jack is my favorite role of his. Kind of makes me worry about what kind of villain they'll have for Borderlands 3.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but I wanna mnetion Dark Force. Because he's so cool looking. Or like a lot of Dragon Quest's final bosses.

Delita is just the best. As time goes on I really wish for a Tactics that had no Lucavi. But, where Delita was the final fight. At least on one route. Like, do you know how far gaming would evolve over night if we had a game that had endings that were Stop Delita and Join Delita. Before he becomes king of Ivalice. The former would be great for Ivalice, but Ramza just couldn't sit idly by and watch it happen. The means by which Delita were climbing the ranks would bother him. And he'd have to confront his former brother in arms. And when Delita would not stand down. Ramza walked away. Ramza would recruit support. He would take this to the field. Shouting one last time that Delita could drop it all. But by that time it would be too late. Delita couldn't walk away. I like the idea of Ramza storming the coronation, but it feels against his character somehow. And then this would plunge Ivalice into Civil War yet again. Ramza only holding a faction of the population. He himself not possessing the charisma, nor the conviction to take the throne.
Or Ramza would realize that this would be best for Ivalice. Delita being the means that will be justified by the end. Sickened by the endless strife of Ivalice. He hopes to be the voice of reason to Delita. To be his conscience. If for nothing else then to satisfy his own. And he is sent to finally put the rest of Ivalice in line. And finds he cannot without fighting. Delita knows this. He promises diplomacy to Ramza, knowing his greatest leader won't willingly fight. Sending him to negotiate with those who've sworn to die instead of being united under Delita. And at last when Delita wins. When nothing stands in his way. Ramza realizes he's failed his own ideals and walks away, never heard from again.

Delita outsmarted everyone and still died like a chump. Yazmat fucking knew how to write political drama.

Lavos is a good one. As a kid, I suffered from some doomsday paranoia that Lavos really would destroy the world in 1999. I didn't know what was going to happen.
