Regarding the poll that just went up, it's not clear whether the 1-5 rating in the New Content section intends 5 to be high or 1 to be high.

So I've a bit of a question. I don't generally like to brag or what have you, I just want to know if there is any way where one can identify me as the author of the YWK articles I submitted, because they only seem to include the person who submitted them, that usually being Kurt.
Kinda look like a liar after I told someone I used to post here way back when and having nothing to show for it : P

I usually adjust the author credit manually after importing them but sometimes the system doesn't record the changes. It's really annoying!

I fixed up Top Banana and Paris-Dakar Rally. For Alantia, who was the "main" author on this article? Wordpress only allows credit to a single author, so the primary author is credited in the link and contributors are credited in the text at the top.
There are still a number of articles that need to be imported, though we're making progress....guessing maybe 80% of the old site is ported over.

Why did the website change anyway ?

Why did the website change anyway ? Because managing a website of this size using early 2000s era HTML had become completely untenable.

The "Reviews" page is still only displaying Series articles available for browsing. Is there any plans to reinstate "Individual" games again as they've been gone for several months? It's a real bummer that they aren't there since their absence effectively neuters half the site. Both Chrome and Firefox are showing the same results.

It's a real bummer that they aren't there since their absence effectively neuters half the site. Both Chrome and Firefox are showing the same results. Trying to find a workaround. This is the closest we have for now: www.hardcoregaming101.net/alphabetical/The problem is that it's ugly, there's no way to change the formatting, and it displays EVERY article, not just reviews. We ran into this issue because the site uses a plug-in to create these alphabetical lists, because Wordpress does not have built-in functionality. But the site has grown too big (over 2,200 articles at this point and still several hundred more to import) and it just totally crashes the plug-in when trying to generate a list that size. And, we haven't found any suitable replacement, except this one. What I might try to do is use the above page to generate a list of articles, delete/format as necessary and just create a static page that we'll have to manually refresh once per month or so. But, I'd prefer to wait until more of the site is ported to start that undertaking.

Okay, this is bothering me...
There seems to no longer be any way to simply list all articles for all games covered or games in a specific genre (for example if I want all "First Person Adventure" games), every time I go to reviews or features I get a list of the most recent ones and then have to read those and hope they have links to something else I'm interested in.
Seriously, bring back the alphabetical lists at the very least!

These are and have been always available from the top menu. www.hardcoregaming101.net/reviews/www.hardcoregaming101.net/adventure-first-person/etc.

Huh. Yesterday I clicked "review" and got exactly what I said I got, not what I'm seeing now. *shrug* I'll blame aliens.

From the Unavowed article: "tired and true point and click formula" That certainly changes the meaning of the phrase...
