Actually, I've wanted one for a while- problem is that I am a bit more reluctant to shell out $40+ on novelty controllers :\ It's pretty damn cute though...

I used to have this crazy PC game controller in the early 90s (I think from Logitech?) that was basically a flimsy joystick with a 3-button mouse attached to the top. It looked neat (for a 12 year old) but like most crazy peripherals, worked like crap.
Anyone remember this thing? All I remember is that it was black and those details I just mentioned. By far the weirdest controller I've owned, and I have the Densha De Go controller and Steel Battalion.

Anyone remember the first time they attempted to used an N64 controller? To me it looked like it was designed for people to play it with 3 hands and their face. That's exactly what you had to do in order to input the 64 characters code for Goldeneye. I used my teeth (or my nose, can't remember which). Megatron: I have the Biohazard 2 version of that RE controller. Comes with...herb teas! And stickers. Edit: Whoops, I triple posted. Deleted one and merged the last post into this one. My apologies.

And people thought the Orignal XBOX controller was huge and lugging.

And people thought the Orignal XBOX controller was huge and lugging. yeah, but the original X-Box controller wasn't supposed to be there purely for novelty value

Legend has it that dropping it on top of a cat from nine feet would break the cat's back.

This controller is pretty weird I want to get it though. It seems like it would inspire me to beat more early ps1 rpgs lol.

I have one of these. The X and O buttons are in the back. I have one too, but can't help but always think that it would have been way better with an analog stick. I think there is a PS2 version with the analog and the age of this one makes it out of the question, but it would have been cool. There is also a SNES version that looks like the right side of the Super Famicom pad. I love novelty controllers as display pieces. I got the Katana for $30 new when the price dropped and it looks awesome on my top shelf. The Slime Controller is a nice display piece too. Personal favorite is the NeGcon. One of the most unique and rewarding novelty experiences. As for non-control devices, the SMS 3D glasses are the greatest. The games are very dated now, but the 3D effect is something anyone who loves games should experience.
