Harvest Moon. After the triple threat of Hybrid, WPJ, and Blackthorne, our listeners deserve a one-month hiatus in the Obscurolympics.
That said, Harvest Moon and Electro Man seem equally likely to test the very limits of "game." One is way too similar to the banality of the work week. The other seems to have been designed and programmed by mole people.

Frankly, as interesting as Electroman's history is - it's essentially a crappy platformer from the eastern bloc with bland graphics. I've got to agree with Xerxes on this - not only have we had two 2d platformers in as many casts but we could use a game with a little more substance.
Harvest Moon would be the ideal choice and since it seems everyone hates that game but hasn't actually played it, I'm going to go with it. While I'd prefer SSSV - it's still mostly a platformer (albiet a unique puzzle situational thing - basically a lot like GEIST).

The following is a non-paid endorsement for "Vote Harvest Moon because the Podcast will literally last five minutes if Electroman wins, and we will have about 3 pages of discussion on this thread including the votes."
Most people have been saying that Harvest Moon would be too much of a time investment, but that's only true if you're playing it that way. There's really no "end" to the game, you set the limit and can play as much or as little as you want. If anything I it would be really easy and kind of fun to set challenges (what's the most money you can make in the first month by scavenging).
Also, one of the good things about this Harvest Moon is the Harvest Sprites (or as I like to call them, "Fey Laborers"). If you play it smart and make use of them from the get-go, they basically do all of the boring repetitive crap for you and you can spend time macking on girls, chopping wood, cooking, drawing a giant dong in your field with your ho, or whatever.
Plus, it's one of the limited games on PSN!!! Make your poor PSP or Vita feel loved. This is one of those games that's perfect for them - just pop on Netflix on your TV and you're set. It's very meditative.

I'd go with Space Station Silicon Valley but I have no idea where my N64 jumper pak is (the game has compatibility issues with the expansion pak) Hm, I didn't know that, either. Perhaps that was my issue with the game; it seemed really choppy and slow, and liked to lock up on me. Huh. Well, I don't have it any more, so I guess I'm out this month (like usual...).

Well, here's a proposal for extending Electro Man discussion: as it turns out, the developer became Chaos Works, which in turn means they did Fire Fight.
That is definitely a game worth talking about, especially if you're into EA's Strike series. It also runs surprisingly well on modern computers, though you'll need to give it admin privileges to avoid a freezing issue.
In other words, let's make it a double-bill to see how far said developer has come.
(Note: I have NOT formally voted for anything yet. I prefer to save my vote for the very end in case of a tie, like King's Quest V.)

I think starting with Electro Man and then moving onto Chaos Works other games once we're done with it might work.

I support this idea wholehearthedly. Of course I barely post here outside of the completion thread, so people might tend to not pay attention to my insane ramblings

I will be sociable around here for once. I vote Harvest Moon.
It is easy to acquire and I need something to play on my Vita. As for the other two, Bootleg Robocop doesn't look or sound very fun to me, and I agree with the others on the emulation being a real pain for the N64 game.

if Harvest Moon ends up winning somehow (not saying I'm voting for it, as none of these games seem appealing to me in the least for the podcast, and I'd personally like a re-roll) is it absolutely necessary to play the Playstation one? It's a fairly expensive game last I checked and as far as I know the HM games are basically interchangeable. I'd prefer to play the SNES one if for no other reason than I own a copy and it's a lot easier to emulate even if I didn't.
edit: I don't want the PSN version because I will never play it again.

I'm much more of a PC than a console gamer, so my vote goes to ELECTROMAN. This is an emergency zone!

I would say in this case go with Friends of Mineral Town for GBA, because it is almost exactly the same game but with a different viewpoint/graphics. The town, characters, etc. are the same.

One Vote for Electro Man Firstly, because it's 1992 in the MS-DOS Empire, and I love PC games from this era for their kitsch and camp and mysteriously addictive gameplay. And secondly, because was published by Epic Games, and I have a thing for indie games from the innocent pasts of triple-A studios.
I just hope this game doesn't hate DOSBOX.
