That's a good question. Given that this is a special occasion, we'll likely have as many people in the call as we can. I'll run this past xerxes first and see what he thinks. Here's an early link to the stream. I'll update the thread when the show's about to start!

The livecast will begin in roughly 3 hours! A link to the stream can be found in my previous post, as well as the first post of this thread. For those that miss the show, a highlights reel will be uploaded at a later date.

I know it's a bit late, but I made a song using Tim Allen's grunts. It's not as long as I wanted, but real life kinda kept me from working on it that much. I converted it to a SPC file, so it should be compatible with a SNES, but I haven't tried doing so. www.fileswap.com/dl/0kh25sIdO3/ This link is for the SPC file soundcloud.com/doozer0/aughsong For those who can't/don't know how to play a SPC file, I uploaded a mp3 version to my Soundcloud.

Look, even though Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit isn't great, it's much better than the following crappy SNES titles:
Ultraman Pit-Fighter James Bond Jr. Captain Novolin Harley's Humongous Adventure Wayne's World Bubsy in: Claws Encounter of the Furred Kind Bubsy 2 The Wizard of Oz Last Action Hero Terminator 2: Judgement Day Lester the Unlikely Rex Ronan: Experimental Surgeon Bebe's Kids Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Eye of the Beholder Space Ace Snow White in Happily Ever After Shaq Fu Ballz 3D HammerLock Wrestling Rise of the Robots Rap Jam Vol. 1 Time Cop Batman Forever
Also, I think the game's lack of an instruction manual and only a Binford slip telling you that "real men don't need instructions" is a rather nice nod to the TV show where Tim would go forth with a project without proper instructions as well as wave off any warnings from Al, only to screw up the project with some wacky accident.
Bottom, yes, Tim Allen fighting dinosaurs, giant scorpions, and ghosts is stupid, but if you can look past that, Power Tool Pursuit is a pretty fun SNES game if you like a challenge. It's not Super Ghouls & Ghosts hard, but it's still difficult.

I still find it amazing that Ryusui actually put in the effort to improve the game's controls. I wonder what other games we could put that sort of attention into.

Random guest poster is the weirdest bump. What's even more amusing is that of the small handful of gameplay videos I have recorded and uploaded to YouTube, the Home Improvement clear is the most popular by far.
Between that and this guest poster, I am now convinced that there is a sinister cabal* of people who really like the Home Improvement game.
* They like the Home Improvement game. Of course their cabal is sinister.

Of course their cabal is sinister. It's a shame that Metal Murray is no longer signed up for the boards. It would have been interesting to talk to him more about the game. I really enjoy seeing (the precious little) comments and feedback from people outside the usual suspects. So Metal Murray, give us a holler on Twitter or something.

I still find it amazing that Ryusui actually put in the effort to improve the game's controls. I wonder what other games we could put that sort of attention into. I'd love to see a hack of the Incredible Hulk that turns on one of the Game Genie codes permanently. That game is a lot of fun if the Hulk has access to all of his powers from the start, rather than requiring you stay at max health, which is impossible. Seeing how much Home Improvement was...well, improved by Ryusui implementing better controls makes me wonder how many other barely playable games are out there that just need some TLC to make them fun again, or at least interesting enough to play.

I like Power Tool Pursuit honestly and truly, and I'd play it over any of your fancy pants Call of Duty games any day of the week!
