Just returned from seeing it and it's best since Goldeneye. The chases dragged on a bit and I wasn't rely buying that Craig's got that Bond charm when it comes to the ladies (the romance seemed a little forced) and you could see the plot-twist coming miles away, but man he's got the cold-blooded killer bad-ass style down right. I hope they continue this trend by Down playing the mindless action and silly gadgets in the future movies, focusing more on the stories (preferably based on Ian Fleming's writings) and the government sponsored spy/assassin bit.

...(the romance seemed a little forced)... Kinda like Austin Powers?

Well, Austin is a funny guy, and I was totally buying it in the first film. Sean has eyes that say "I'm a predator, your the prey. Run all you want, I'll catch you eventually", Brosman is charm incarnate and Roger Moore..... well he's Roger Moore. ...I'm straight btw

It's okay, Bond in his many forms is supposed to represent all forms of manly: Good with the ladies, kills without mercy, articulate and has a scarring past.

I'd like to see bond film that dives into that scarring past.

Well, then he would hardly be that international man of mystery they are going for. But at least we got a few hints in CR.

Indeed, this isn't Naruto where 3/4 of fights are flashbacks.

The film was great. I do wish they would have cut down the scenes at the end, though. All of the stuff after they were done with La Chifre seemed just tacked on. Overall, though, I enjoyed it very much. Damn, JB was beat up constantly in that film....

Yeah, it made him look more human sure he got his ass beat in Die another day but Die another day was ass. the Ultimate Bond collections are out on DVD now. but it seems they aren't in order they have like 2 Connery 2 Moore and 1 Brosnon/Dalton each set.

What other Bond films do you guys like? I'm a big fan of Goldeneye and Casino Royale but I haven't seen too many of the others before it and I'd like to watch some of them. Which ones do you guys like?

I haven't seen any Bond film in ages upon ages, but I do recall being quite fond of Goldfinger, Live And Let Die, and Goldeneye... my memory on all others is quite blurry.
I'd like to see CR in the near future. I've been hearing lots of praise for it. I was as skeptical as most everyone else when Craig was cast (especially since I was pushing for Clive Owen, who would have been a natural for the part), but it sounds like he really pulled it off. Also, I hear his portrayal is closer to the no-nonsense Bond as portrayed in Ian Fleming's novels.

Which ones do you guys like? Pretty much all the Connery ones. Roger Moore bond films ranged from ok to UGH I liked Goldeneye but all the other Brosnon movies felt like he was Roger Moore 2.0

My impression was that Brosnon was one of the best actors to play Bond but he was given such terrible movies to play the character in. If they had given him better films then he would have never been fired from the job...
