I wish modern RPGs had this sort of dialogue system. And no, persuasion in the Elder Scrolls series doesn't count!

Never heard of this game before, and Accolade's first to boot. However, I really do not like when, speaking of that company, one must automatically go "oh lawd Bubsy", forgetting that during their early best years, they developed and/or published Test Drive, Hardball, Elvira, Waxworks and Star Control I-II. Unfortunately they went downhill after 1992. (Except Zero Tolerance on the Genesis. Really liked that despite its limitations.) But I liked the first Bubsy. It was after that the series went downhill.

I wish modern RPGs had this sort of dialogue system. And no, persuasion in the Elder Scrolls series doesn't count! I'd say Bioware had a very similar dialogue system in terms of layout and use, especially in games like Knights of the Old Republic. Sadly, only a few conversations throughout their games had the depth of most of the conversations in LotW.

Here's a small fix to the otherwise perfect article: "In a nice touch, as soon as a gun is fired, the figures in the back will hightail it off the screen." Not sure about the other versions, but in the C64 version the figures start hightailing as soon as you take your gun out. Sorry for repeating this, but I'm a sucker for getting little details right. (:

Sorry, but I think once I send out an article, editing it is out of my hands. X: If anybody with editor status would mind changing that part of the sentence, though, I'd really appreciate it.

Whoever did the editing, I thank you. (: Now the article is perfect, as far as I'm concerned.
// And thanks to Bobinator for writing the article!
