I love the beatemup genre - But what the fuck is this shit I mean - I love X-men legends It's a solid beatemup And then you have these other game sout these days. Seriously the PS2 controller has Eight "Action" buttons If you want to pop open a menu - The start button is there you dont use fucking circle that's for RPG's. And what's this I get TWO attack buttons, Punch and Kick? What the fuck - I thought maybe you game developers would grasp the concept of multi-button attacks. Maybe it's to keep it simple but so far in games Simple sucks.

Why don't you own God Hand yet.
Also Yakuza is fairly decent in this regard.

I kinda want street wise now since Cammy is a boss Don't pay too much for it. The Cammy thing really isn't a big deal.

Simple idea is fine, but simple game overall, most ot the times, sucks Tetris has a simple idea behind him, but the game itself isn't that simple at all

I'd argue that it remains simple in idea and overall, it uses a maximum of two buttons (excluding directions) and is more addictive then complex.

I'll give you that Streets of Rage is fun, I use to love it completely but now I like it less so, the little known Crisis Beat (a pretty ordinary budget game) is decent for PSone and Dynamite Cop, Die Hard Trilogy (the other one , not the 3 mini games) and Zombie Revenge are all decent.
I stand by LF2 being (debately not a beat'em up) one of the coolest games ever made and it's freeware..and it's networkable which means up to 16 players I guess but sadly only 2 PCs at once.

Speaking of beatemups, I think it was for sega genesis but it might be for PS1. It was like an isometric beatemup.

I'll need more then isometric beatem-up for Genesis OR PSone...that's pretty huge even if isometric is uncommon for beat'em ups..I can think of one game and that's Dungeon Magic..unsure whether it was ported.

The soundtracks are what make Streets of Rage so awesome.
Nothing like Final Fight and Streets of Rage. I've to find 2 finer beat em ups
Unless Dynasty/Samurai Warriors count do they?
