Sean Connery having Zardoz and Finding Forrester ("You're the man now, dog!") to offset Bond. Well, Connery has the advantage that the role was passed on so many times that people have mostly forgotten that he used to be THE James Bond. What sucks more for him is that his last role was in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Bruce Willis having The 5th Element, Hudson Hawk (for being so embarrassingly ridiculous), RED, and so much else to offset Die Hard. Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, Twelve Monkeys... That man will have some pretty awesome obituaries.

Well I'll be, it was his last one. Except for some voice acting.
I'm sure he'll be remembered for Bond. It would be really weird for him not to be.

I am a believer of God, and no sane person should ever say Fred Phelps was a hero.

Good to hear. Guy was a cock bag. He'd have to have a cock to begin with to be a cockbag ;p. I'd like to think that dinosaur satan is tearing his flesh off right now.

Although I did just come across people saying he was excommunicated for thinking the church should take a kinder approach.

He was excommunicated, since August, but from what I could find, no one from the church was willing to respond to reporter's questions and I have never seen an official reason as to why.

I know that we're supposed to be accepting of other peoples' opinions and beliefs. And I know that we're supposed to not wish death on people because it's "bad". But some people are just better off dead, and the world is a better place for it. This is one of those cases.

Its just too bad that his legacy shows no sign of slowing down after this.

Its just too bad that his legacy shows no sign of slowing down after this. Yeah. Rotten apples don't fall far from the tree (although at least one of his kids had the sense to break away from the rest).

But some people are just better off dead, and the world is a better place for it. This is one of those cases. I feel no regret experiencing a morose satisfaction at the demise of someone who actively caused a level of suffering in the world. Having opinions and beliefs is one thing, leaving a negative stain on human history is another.

RIP Dave Brockie/Oderus Urungus. One of the most underrated vocalist/artists in metal. And the funniest. I met him once and he had no problem standing around and talking to his fans. He walked up to a friend and myself to thank us for coming out and proceeded to sing GWAR songs and talk with us at the bar for about ten minutes. He was a great guy.
