RIP Ultimate Warrior. He was my second favourite WWE wrestler after Hulk Holgan. Not celebrity but this week also died the mother of an old schoolmate of my brother (who also lives at the same neighborhood). Εven sadder is the fact that this young man (born in 1989, like my brother) also has cancer.

This is one of those surreal moments where we have a huge popular person who hasn't been in spotlight for years comes back and dies few days later. I never was much of a Ultimate Warrior fan (and his anti-homosexual speeches didn't help for that matter) but damn if he wasn't intense and driven when it came to being the Ultimate Warrior.

I think the Iron Shiek said it best on Twitter:
Nancy Grace YOU FAT DUMB BITCH I beat the fuck out of you talk bad about my wrestling brother. GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU DEAD DOG WHORE

Got two more who left this mortal coil yesterday. Actor Bob Hoskins and former editor for MAD Magazine Al Feldstein are long gone. We here at HG 101 probably knew Bob Hoskins for playing Mario in the movie Super Mario Brothers. He also acted in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mona Lisa. Al Feldstein I understand popularized MAD in its early day I believe. Other then that he was a cover artist for EC Comics and also worked on wildlife art in his retirement.

Being anti-homosexual, while engaged in a sport involving men grappling with each other in their underpants, seems like a difficult position to defend.

I loved Who Framed Roger Rabbit. That movie made me want to grow up to be a detective. Or a cartoon rabbit. I was a weird kid.

Damn... This is kind of a morbid question but...do you think he carved his own coffin? He was into furniture, and he totally seems like he'd have carved a super awesome sarcophagus. Secondly, be on the lookout for Casey Kasem . Apparently he's gone missing and is senile...

I honestly thought that he had already died. Shitty.
