Blizzard Entertainment's collector's edition sets are always worth it.
Warcraft III- Came with OST, artbook, DVD containing both the Warcraft III and Warcraft II CG cutscenes, plus the game disc itself was printed differently, not to mention the box itself is nice.
World of Warcraft- All of the same from Warcraft III, except the artbook is hardcover, the DVD wasn't that great though since it was trailers for the game and the CG scenes from the Warcraft III expansion set and the opening movie for WoW. Also comes with a cloth map as well as having the option of installing the game through 4 CDs enclosed in a jewel case or on a single DVD. The box design for the limited edition easily surpasses the quality for Warcraft III as well.
The Burning Crusade's going to be pretty nice too. Also, when both these games came out, the LE versions were only 20 dollars more, which is pretty much a steal for what you're getting.
Other collectible stuff I own that's worth the price:
- Ys The Oath in Felghana first print for obvious reasons - Border Down, just because it's stupidly expensive if you resell it now. - Under Defeat; actually, the price Play-Asia's offering for the limited edition now is about the same as a regular Dreamcast import. Go get it, as the included soundtrack is awesome. - Senko no Ronde Rev. X, IF I ONLY UNDERSTOOD JAPANESE TO ENJOY THE DRAMA CD. I can only vaguely understand what's going on for one track on the disc. ;_;

Hmm the limited version of Under Defeat is actually cheaper than the regular one at Play Asia.
Think I need to get in on that. Thanks! I passed by Border Down when it came out due to fundage issues at the time, but I don't want that to happen again.

Ultima 9's "Dragon Edition" actually came with the Ultima Collection and a bunch of other stuff, like the complete Ultima atlas (all the maps from each of the games). I never owned it, so I might be wrong. Would be awesome to have something like that.
The World of Warcraft collector's edition set has some pretty neat stuff in it. I bought the FF12 collector's set, and the Medal of Honor Pacific Assault Director's Edition package is handy as well (because it contains a single DVD instead of four CD's).

To tell ya the truth, bonus games is just about the ONLY thing I will buy a "Special Edition" for. I almost bought Quake IV simply because it includes Quake II and both the expansions. Otherwise.... the special editions thing is nutty.
