Toejam and Earl made it! It's got a little under 2 days left to go, and it has a few stretch goals I'd like to see, namely the guest musicians at $550K. I think it's possible given how much work they've put into the final week spreading the word and hyping people up.
EDIT: It's done and they raised $508,63. They didn't quite make that guest musicians goal, but I have a little hope. They are taking a well deserved break right now, but I hope they have slacker backer options that may go towards that stretch goal. I mean, Wayforward raised quite a bit after the kickstarter ended and it added like 3 extra stretch goals because of it. I have little doubt that they could raise another $42K in the coming months towards that.
EDIT 2: They managed to raise enough money in the post-campaign through backerkit that they hit the extra musicians goal, so that makes me happy.

Just got an e-mail today about this game, Tokyo Dark. Looks promising. It appears to be a point and click horror / adventure game / visual novel.

Heres a Kick starter for Arena Fighter that'll be made for pc, Wii u, and xbox one. This is pretty much a spiritual successor to Power stone series. Even the art work seem similar to it.

So, having not heard much from 90s Arcade Racer or Drift Stage in a while, I noticed this game on my Tumblr:
I know, the 80s Neon aesthetic is arguably overdone at this point, but this feels like I'm racing through a music video for a synth-pop band, and the racing model feels nice and weighty. They're only about halfway to their goal with 9 days left.

Cool concept here. Would love to see it work out. After what just happened with P.T., if say it's got a chance to happen. Small amount of time left though.

So, this looks pretty cool: a randomly-generated first-person game where you must escape a strange dystopian city while avoiding suspicion. Get a load of their launch trailer:

Be wary of that one. We already had something similar with Sir You Are Being Hunted, and that was a pretty huge disappointment. The marketing promises a really original premise and art direction, but then you watch a bit of gameplay and realize the actual game is nowhere near as interesting as the premise established in trailers and artwork.

I dunno, these guys seem to actually have some substance, even if it does look like "just another survival game" at first...

Once, in ancient times, there was a fighting game based off of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Then Hasbro noticed. Then, there was no longer a fighting game based off of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. But good news! The game, which actually looked pretty well done for a fighting game based off of My Little Pony, hasn't completely died out. Now, it's Them's Fightin' Herds, a new fighter set in a new universe that will not only be C&D-free, but will also hopefully keep most of the more unsavory sorts from getting involved. And we will leave it at that. There's brand new character designs by Lauren Faust, all of which look pretty spiffy. It'll also use the Skullgirls engine, which means all sorts of good things, most notably GGPO netplay. That's the good stuff. While the inspiration is still pretty clear, I'm pretty big on these faster, more combo-heavy sorts of fighters, so I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
