I think this is just another example of a dev shooting itself in the foot by using Indiegogo instead of Kickstarter. Indiegogo simply doesn't work out well for big budget (by indie standards) game project.

Indiegogo simply doesn't work out well for big budget (by indie standards) game project. Maybe so. I didn't even know the site existed before this game was announced, but apparently it's the same site they used to gather funds for Skullgirls, so I guess they wanted to remain loyal? One of those "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" type deals. It may have been their undoing, but they're down by a fairly large amount, which I believe is only the amount needed to simply make the game. Regardless of what site they use, I don't think people realize how awesome these guys are. |

Indivisible reached 60% of the funding goal and as a consequence Indiegogo extended the timeline for twenty days more, so now a total of 24 days remains to fully fund the game.

Hell SkullGirls is getting ANOTHER game now. Further update (last I heard, ArcSys is dubbing 2nd Encore for the Japanese release, and I hope that will become a DLC for other versions), or a true sequel? Anyway that system to give an extended chance at Indiegogo is nice. As for why they aren't managing the same success this time, I'd say Kickstarter stealing the spotlight and a saturation of crowdfunded projects. |

2nd Encore is only coming to the PS4 and Vita, so I believe it has to be a sequel. Also yes, I'm very happy they got an extension on that. Hopefully they can get it in time.

It's seriously not a sequel. It's a thing for Japanese audiences, and Japan just doesn't give a crap about the PC or the XBOX One, so... yeah. |

Skullgirls already bears the "2nd Encore" subtitle on PC, after they added Beowulf and Robo-Fortune. Apparently they have a lot of ideas for a sequel, the thing is to get the funds to do it... it may well be the last "pure 2D" fighting game left.

And so Indivisible has managed to finally reach that sum with a quick and sudden rush of new donations, although when such things happen I get the doubt it's the dev themselves to avoid failure. But it has succeeded anyway, that is the important thing.
