It's more the stereotype there. Japan's public view/shorthand on homosexual men leans more for the burlier, leather bar variety than ours leaning more on the effeminate. It sorta fuels part of the reason why Zangief from Street Fighter might be gay, since it fits the Japanese perception. Funny enough, Eagle is outright stated as gay and doesn't match the stereotype, though he is based on Freddie Mercury. Speaking of that second example, even as a kid I never found that scene funny, as it basically boils down to grown man acting like he's got the hots for an eight year old kid. Never understood how anyone found that comedic. My memory is kind of fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure that's from GT. That or the end of Z, because looking at that picture, that's older Trunks.

Tournament at the end of Z, with 4-year old Pan participating and Goku running off with Uub. The other fighters were all goofy and/or one-note, like the gay guy, a hip douchy 90s guy, and Captain Chicken. Toriyama was wrapping up the manga, so he had some final fun with bit characters.

Ah thank you. I forgot about all of that.

Well, problem is that that just isn't really "funny".

No that's true. But, I was just saying it wasn't a pedophilia joke.

Double-checking, the Dragon Ball wikia states the final DBZ tournament takes place 10 years after Buu Saga, and that Trunks would be 18 by then. I'm guessing Toriyama wanted lesser a creeper factor for a joke match-up. YWK has become the Dragon Ball minutia thread.

But, yeah Trunks was all grown up at that point.

Guess I confused this with flashbacks to the Go Go Ackman game which legit seemed to have a grown mustachiod guy creeping on the pre teen protagonist.

I thought T.R.A.G. was an okayish Resident Evil clone more infamous for its abysmal English voice acting. It got an Audio Atrocities induction.

Opening this back up since we've run through a good chunk of current submissions. Check out the OP for all of the pitching details!

As I mentioned on the main thread, I'm thinking of writing about Radikal Bikers, 'cause frankly I feel that it's more fitting for a YWK than a full-on article.
Others I've considered are some off-beat WWF/WWE games, those being WWF Betrayal (that odd GBC beat-em-up WayForward did), WWE Crush Hour (the car combat one) and WWE WrestleMania XIX (that one with the main mode that's more of a BEU or action game but still plays like the regular matches), as those specific three are infamous. Maybe WCW Backstage Assault too, as it's a similar case to Betrayal and Crush Hour: a wrestling-based game with no wrestling.

A fairly recent stinker is The Letter on Wii U that's gotten a lot of bile fascination since it's cheap as hell, especially during that 75% off sale that knocked it down to 50 cents.
I'm trying but even after the pain of getting out of the first house, it's hard to figure out where to go next.

From what I've gathered, Betrayal and Crush Hour aren't total disasters and its nice to see them trying something unique with the WWE ip. I hate the story mode in Wrestlemania XIX, but otherwise its a competent wrestling game. Backstage Assault on the other hand, is a wrestling game where all the matches take place outside of the ring. This is like tuning into WCW Nitro and finding out every match tonight will take place in the backstage because its "unique". The gimmick is as stupid as a standard Vince Russo gimmick match.
