COMING NOVEMBER 28TH, 8:30 PM CST/9:30 PM EST GAME CLUB 199X PRESENTS: VIEWER'S CHOICE We've had a long, crazy ride, these past few streams. We've covered the launch of one of the most influential consoles of all times. We've covered the entire US library of the Sega 32X. We've played Cyberdillo. Now? Well, things are a little bit different. We're slowing things down, doing things a little more casual, with Thanksgiving break coming up. We're so casual, we don't even have any games we decided to play. We're making you do it. That's right. You, the GC9X viewers, will have a chance to decide which games end up in the next stream! I'll be streaming six games, each one lasting for 30 minutes. You, however, pick the games! So, here's the rules: 1. First come, first serve.2. Please try to keep this to anything before the PS2.3. In the event of technical issues, we will pick another that game that has been voted for as a replacement.4. Please try not to suggest too many things like, say, RPGs. They're not super exciting to watch being streamed. That's not a ban, just letting you guys know.GAME LIST: 1. Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land - Requested by Cambertian!2. Guardian Heroes - Requested by nivery!3. Sparkster - SNES - Requested by Zerker!4. Haunting Starring Polterguy - Requested by Jason X!5. Joy Mech Fight - Requested by Soulhoof!6. Psychic Killer Taromaru - Requested by multiple people!REQUESTS ARE NOW CLOSED! THANK YOU FOR VOTING!You can send your picks to Twitter at @gc9x or @robertnaytor! See you there!

The "before PS2 rule" is gonna KILL me, but whatever, I'll post some games:
- Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. I prefer the second one, but since you're going retro... - Bit Generations: Digidrive. Horribly overlooked action-puzzle game. Gets really intense, could make for some good moments! - Kirby's Dream Course. Closest thing to golf without boring. - F-Zero (any of them). I've been watching the anime and would like to see the streamer's best attempts at racing. (This might be one where it's better if the streamer is WORSE, actually.) - Blast Corps. I am unable to emulate it on my Mac, and it's pretty action-packed. (Well, explosion-y.) - Fantasy Zone II. Just a good game in general.
Choose your favorite/the one that breaks the least rules from the list, and happy streaming!

Jeremy Parish's Saturn retrospective got me interested in watching someone play Guardian Heroes or Psychic Assassin Taromaru. Also, Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller would be cool! I've only ever read the HG101 article.

Choose your favorite/the one that breaks the least rules from the list, and happy streaming! I'll go ahead and put you on the list, but I'm going to have to veto Bit Generation (Too new) and Blast Corps (N64 games don't really emulate well.). I also have to say no to F-Zero, since I don't think the SNES version would be the best to show off, and X is an N64 game. So, let me randomize what's left from that, and get... Super Mario Land 3: Warior Land! Thanks for voting! This is a good list! Jeremy Parish's Saturn retrospective got me interested in watching someone play Guardian Heroes or Psychic Assassin Taromaru. Also, Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller would be cool! I've only ever read the HG101 article. Going to randomize your suggestions and pick one... I'm keeping this to one game per person. From the randomizer, we get... Guardian Heroes! Thanks for voting!

NES Nightshade? Really drawing a blank here.
-edit-
Here's a more proper list.
1. NES Nightshade 2. Skitchin' 3. Haunting: Starring Polterguy 4. Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castles 5. U.N. Squadron

Since it's no fun watching you stream games I already own, I'm going to pick from my wishlist. Grab any of: Alisia Dragoon Sparkster (either version) Space Megaforce
However, I probably won't be watching the event live if it starts at 9:30 EST. I'm assuming you'll be uploading it after the fact as well?
If you want skip these picks to go with choices from someone who'll be able to join you during the event, that's fine with me too.

Here is a random list that popped into my head:
- Mischief Makers (N64) - Shadow Dancer (Arcade) - Joy Mech Fight (Famicom) - Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru (Saturn) - Strider Hiryu (Arcade) - G-Darius (Playstation)
Well, it's not really random. I tried to suggest games that are immediately fun to watch.

The randomizer I'm using seems to be kind of bugged as it keeps putting the first choice people make at the very top, so I'm just going to pick and choose one game out of your lists. Hope that's OK!
From Jason X: I choose... Haunting: Starring Polterguy! Thanks for voting!
From Soulhouf: I choose... Joy Mech Fight! Thanks for voting!
And from Zerker, I choose... Sparkster... the SNES version! Thanks for voting!
We've only got one more slot open! What's our final game gonna be?

Since this game has been mentioned twice already amongst batches of other games yet was cruelly ignored my the randomizer, I am going to nominate Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru specifically.
It's great! It's one of my favorite Saturn games, and there is a tragically tiny amount of video coverage of the game.

Absolutely no clue what that game is, so that should be interesting to see.

Hmm... tell you guys what. Since I've gotten this many votes for it, I'll try to run it and see if it'll work over SSF. If it does, I'll make it the sixth slot.

OK... good news and bad news. I can get Psychic Killer Taromaru working over SSF. Unfortunately, it's a bit glitchy in that it doesn't play any sound or music, and I have absolutely no idea how to play it. However, since you guys specifically requested it, I'll put it in the final slot. Just don't expect greatness.
