A difficult question. The list doesn't have to be in a particular order.
As you may notice, I especially like films which are (sometimes subtle) social, psychological, and spiritual commentaries.
Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo " " Marnie Heat The Wild Bunch Once upon a time in The West American Beauty Fight Club The Matrix Alien Enter the Dragon (also a fan of Bruce Lee's philosophical work btw) Paris, Texas Blade Runner Metropolis Frankenstein (1931) The Mummy (1932) Night of the Living Dead The Edukators (German indie film) One Hour Photo (Robin Williams' best film IMO) Siddharta (based on Herman Hesse's book) The Truman Show Falling Down From Russia with Love The Rock One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest The Lord of The Rings: Fellowship of The Ring Memento

Off the top of my head...
Children of Men Seven Psychopaths 12 Angry Men (original and remake) Inglorious Bastards From Dusk Till Dawn Beerfest Broken Lizard's Club Dredd The Matrix The Avengers The Dark Knight Blazing Saddles Up The Incredibles The Lion King Bleach: Hellverse (I'm a giant nerd, so sue me) Hot Fuzz Starship Troopers Django Unchained Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Spider-Man 2
I really need to watch more classics.

I only have five for you.
Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922) Five Deadly Venoms (1978) Clash of the Titans (1981) The Princess Bride (1987) Shanghai Knights (2003)
Settling on one Jackie Chan film was very difficult.

Would have gone with Legend of Drunken Master II, personally.

My second choice was Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, but I wanted to balance out my list and I already had an older kung fu film on there. As far was post-western popularity movies of his go, Shanghai Noon/Knights have a lot of sentimental value for me.
Also can't really go wrong with a film that has both Jackie Chan and Donnie Yen in it, unless of course he were to do another with Sammo Hung in the (hopefully) not-too-distant future.

Maybe you can make it through one of them before they're all taken down—like 75% of my favorites list.

In no particular order and off the top of my head. And you may notice that I like Kurt Russell and John Carpenter movies. There's so many more I could put on here.
Star Wars Episode IV-VI The Big Lebowski Night of the Living Dead Dawn of the Dead(original) Big Trouble in Little China Escape From N.Y. The Thing Halloween Braveheart Tombstone They Live Robocop Airplane Nosferatu Evil Dead Predator Alien Friday the 13th Part 2

This list is subject to change drastically very soon, as there is an astoundingly higher than average volume of universally renowned "classics" that I haven't gotten to watching yet. I'm just going to go for 5 for the time being.
12 Angry Men (Original) The Good, the Bad and the Ugly There Will Be Blood Sword of the Stranger Glengarry Glen Ross
