I believe that Granzella don't have enough manpower. I think, we will hear about it after some months of the release from City Shrouded. Bamco is funding City shrouded, I don't know the investors of the new Disaster Report game and the VR Demo of Disaster Reprt was postponed. Very hard to analyze about the state of Disaster Report. Only time will tell.
I also started to give up hope regarding US-Release of City Shrouded. They started to put japanese local food chains in their game.

I'd preorder City Shrouded in Shadows on day 1 if it was announced for a US release. Same thing for Disaster Report 4.

That was fast, we (Japan) get Disaster Report 4 in the year 2018 and they will work with Kobe City Fire Bureau cooperation. I almost thought, I have to buy the Playstation 5 due to the unknown release. I mean, this game is the reason why I have the Playstation 3 as well as the Playstation 4.

It really feels like it has been 3000 years...This was one of the titles that made Irem quit developing games after the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami occurred right?

Kinda
After the earthquake, they stopped the development of the game (similar like the Highschool of the Dead Manga), but Kazuma Kujo (one of the main guy behind Disaster Report) wanted to create the game, but Irem found their success at the Smartphone market, when they abandoned the development, thus they decided to focus at smartphone games. Keep in mind that lots of developers struggled during the ps3 development and lots of companies closed. Irem was just smart and focused at the smartphone market, since they were never huge. I mean, lots of middle sized japanese developers vanished and Atlus doesn't count, since they recycle their game. This barely counts as surviving. Nihon Falcom was always cheap and NIS got their money through NISA Publishing etc., but middlze sized companies really vanished. I mean, Capcom and Konami are huge in comparison. But, back to topic^^. The funny thing was that a worker from a government asked if they could continue the development. The game was still abandoned, but Kazuma Kujo bought the IP from Irem ( as well as Steambot Chronicles) 3-4 years ago and he announced it, but he had to start from scratch. I guess due to some copyright issues and now, we are here. I am pretty sure that the game will have some issues ( I mean, we see barely faces in the preview screens at amazon Japan, which is worrisome), but after the whole story and due to the quality of the game, I will definitely pre order it. Well, my japanese skills are a bit rusty, thus I can use my freetime to enhance them again.
