Played Monster World IV recently (and it's perhaps one of my favorites,) so unfortunately, my vote must go to Valkyrie Profile.

Wing Commander! If it wins, I'll stream the cartoon!
...Wait, why are you suddenly changing your vote?

I played VP and MWIV but I have no interest in Wing Commander so go Valkyrie!

All three sound good; I bought the WC series recently on GOG.com and a flightstick to play them, so I'm going to vote for Wing Commander. It'll give us the opportunity to talk about the shitty Freddie Prinze Jr. movie also.

Should I be worried that the poll is early? We all know what happened last time... Incidentally, I used to have a boxed copy of Wing Commander (complete with ship blueprints), and gave it away because I was terrible at it, and didn't think I was going to play it again. And look what's coming up for vote

Monster World IV no contest. It's on the PS3 and 360 also so everyone should play it easily.

Going to vote for Wing Commander. VP is nice and all, but it's one of those "do it once and never again" kind of deals.

I vote for Monster World 4 since it's the one MW game I always wanted to get around to playing, but I wouldn't mind trying one of the console Wing Commander ports.

Voting Monster World 4! That'll give us an opportunity to talk about the Shantae games, too.

Oh man, two of my very favorite games. Watch Wing Commander win in the end, haha. I've definitely beaten both, but it's been awhile. Since Monster World IV has the lead right now, I'll vote for that, plus I'd be more up for something short at this time. I also still haven't played it in English, so that's be good motivation to do it finally. I could use some motivation to get back to my big MW4 cross stitch project as well, haha. VP is nice and all, but it's one of those "do it once and never again" kind of deals. You're missing out, Valkyrie Profile is designed to be replayed. There's a bunch of content exclusive to Easy/Normal and bunch exclusive to Hard, so no matter what you pick, you need a second playthrough to see it all. Plus there are the two different (normal) endings (each with an entirely different final dungeon and last boss).

Well yeah, but all the interesting stuff story-wise happens on the A Ending path. There's nothing particularly note-worthy about the B Ending to make it worth replaying nearly the entire game again (or however less it takes depending on how extensive your knowledge is of breaking the game with Grinding/Equipment shortcuts).

That's why I said "Plus". I'm not saying to replay the game solely to get a different ending; I'm saying no matter what difficulty you play on or what ending you go for, you're gonna miss out on a ton of content (namely dungeons). The fact that you have to pick between two different endings with different final dungeons and bosses is just an addendum to that. Hard is the best difficulty to choose to see the most of the game, as you can recruit every character and explore the bonus dungeon in full after completing the game (assuming you get all the items you need from the Hard-exclusive dungeons), but you still miss out on several very cool dungeons that only appear on Easy and Normal. Personally, though, I recommend a first-time player start with Normal and get the B ending and later replay on Hard and go for A. I think it's better to see the "expected" ending first, and doing Normal first means some characters will still be new to you on Hard (and then you can construct a party of Hard-exclusive characters if you so desire to differentiate that experience from playing on Normal).

I think the key take away here is that you're the tri-Ace Super Fan, and thus, somewhat biased when it comes to their games.
